That comment was forced, awkward, and out of place. Having said that, republicans should know better than to ever mention that mediocre president’s name in a debate.

Yeah, yeah.

“58,275 tweets per minute,” of which 58,274 were from Obama’s and Biden’s handlers.

Funny, this is the first we heard of it. They’re still desperately looking for a way to prove that Biden won.

The Kennedy “jab” was a joke, meaningless and infantile. Ryan didn’t let it ruffle him at all.

Well, the LEFT wants us to be intimidated by this.

I think Romney should tell Obama:

“JFK Cut tax rates
JFK fought Communism
JFK said, ‘ask not what your country can do for you’
Mr. President, you are no Jack Kennedy”

All Biden had to offer the other were misdirections, deflections, and catch-phrases. The Dems love catch-phrases and metaphors because that's all they have. So let's use a metaphor that pretty close to reality...

The ship of state has struck an iceberg but appears to still be afloat and moving. Captain Obama and Co. are totally unprepared to answer for what they have done and do not articulate any remedy because they have none. Obama and Co. ARE the problem. They have no plan to repair the damage and have absolutely no plan to change course. It's full speed ahead in the midst of an ever-growing ice field. They believe the ONLY COURSE is to replace wealth-creating capitalism with poverty-creating socialism.

When called into question or debate, socialists have difficulty with the substance of ideas and reality. The best they can do is sling metaphors or catch-phrases ("we're in this together") around and hope something sticks. Their best effort is to distract from reality like a dog and pony show on the deck of the sinking (or limping) Titanic and maybe pretend to "help" by rearranging the chairs (in this case handing out Obama phones).

Romney and Ryan need to ignore the Dems flashy distractions (except cursory mention of their purpose to distract) and continue spotlighting Obama's ruinous acts to date and his plans to continue so he can "finish what he started" (sink the ship, so he can get reassigned to a command post in the New World (Socialist) Order ).

The premise is silly. Why is it the number of tweets generated by some comment newsworthy?

It would be great if Obama tried something like that and Romney just said, "Whoa! How desperate are you?? That came out really forced, didn't it? I bet you feel pretty foolish now, don't you?"

I think Obama would implode from open ridicule like that.

In case Obama brings up Reagan or Lincoln (which he likes to do) Romney will know what to do.

Biden’s Pavlovian non sequitur was utterly predictable. One of his two or three working brain cells was certainly programmed for that response. A Republican is not allowed to utter the name John Kennedy in any context, lest he be accused of pretensions to deity.

Thomas Sowell frequently cites 4 presidents who lowered tax rates which resulted in increased tax revenue. He cites Bush, Reagan, Kennedy, and I forget the other. No one has accused Mr. Sowell of thinking he is Kennedy or Reagan for doing this.

I watched the debate and somehow managed to miss this “hot moment”. I guess Joey Buffoon’s sophomoric smiling, smirking and cutting up antics had me distracted.

It was almost like Joe was just waiting for Ryan to utter the name of some other famous politician so he could respond “Oh so now you think you’re blah blah...”

Debates are not intended to educate the auditors. They are intended to best the opponent.

Biden applied a willful and conscious method of belittleling his opponent. In my opinion Biden succeeded in diminishing Ryan. Bidens behavior has not changed my vote but he clearly made Ryan look small and weak.

Ryan is soooo much better than that drugged out, womanizing, mafia controlled, ineffective potus that it is laughable that Biden would make that comment. Please someone tell what JFK accomplished in his presidency that make him memorable other than the overhyped Cuban missle crisis or getting himself shot. Not much of a legacy other than Camelot. Remember camelot is a fairy tale as is JFK;s legacy.

He got his presidency because of the Chicago mob (Daly, et al). Nixon really won the election. And Kennedy was taken out by the Chicago mob. They have been in control of the Democratic party for a long time.

Oh Bullsh*t. Democrats reliving Loyd Benson's famous put down of Dan Quayle.

Made plagerist Biden sound like a rude plagerist.
