That comment was forced, awkward, and out of place. Having said that, republicans should know better than to ever mention that mediocre president’s name in a debate.

That comment was forced, awkward, and out of place. Having said that, republicans should know better than to ever mention that mediocre presidents name in a debate. Concur on both points
Biden spent his prep time memorizing lines and was just trying to get them in; he did not have substantive arguments; he did not present a rationale to continue the Obama regime into a second term other than fear.

Well the fact is there were two fiscal conservatives in most of our lifetimes.
Kennedy did what Reagan did and Ryan was pointing that out. Biden was already interrupting Ryan before he could get half way through the sentence about the taxes being reduced by Kennedy.
Maybe next Obamy will call out to Martin Luther King and Romney can mention he was a Republican....

Using Kennedy makes a good point though. Forget performance, the real reason is because it shows just how far commie left the libs are today compared to the then-liberal JFK. JFK couldn’t live in the democrat party today. He’d be a Zell Miller.

...Republicans should know better than to ever mention that mediocre presidents name in a debate. Then, they need to fire their current crop of consultants.
And Grover Nordquisling.

At that moment, RyAan should have said to Biden, “You’re no Lloyd Bentsen”. Called Plugs bluff, and showed the world what a bufoon he was.

It's amazing that there are still folks willing to
buy any of what this man tries to sell them.
