Diehard Sarah Palin Volunteers Still Believe She's Running For President (New attack Meme)
Business Insider ^ | July 5, 2011 | Grace Wyler

Although most political analysts have written off the possibility that Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012, a group of diehard Palin fans-turned-amateur political activists of Organize4Palin are convinced that the 2008 vice presidential candidate plans to throw her hat in the ring.

RealClearPolitics' Scott Conroy reports today that the grassroots volunteer network is still trying to lay the groundwork for a Palin 2012 presidential campaign, particularly in Iowa, home to the first-in-nation caucuses.

It is unclear just how many Organize4Palin volunteers are on the ground, but the group reportedly has a presence in the majority of Iowa's 99 counties. The organization also claims to have active chapters in more than 30 states.

In Iowa, California lawyer Peter Singleton is leading the charge of volunteers, who have spent the last few months attending GOP Central Committee meetings, contacting Republican organizers, and making inroads with Tea Party activists — steps that the SarahPAC has notably failed to take.

Singleton swears he has no contact with Palin or SarahPAC, a claim that seems increasingly implausible after last week's Iowa premiere of the Palin biopic "The Undefeated." Conroy points out that Singleton was in contact with Palin aide Rebecca Mansour before the premiere and seemed to be in charge of handling all of the event logistics....

I just wonder how many of these sanctimonious, self righteous political pundits would be willing to put their money where their collective mouths are? Whether they realize it or not, that is what they are doing.

Who, after November 2012 would listen to listen to these clowns predictions? Trying to predict the tomorrows actions by Sarah is like trying to predict when and where the next major earthquake will occur. Might be some likelihood, but no way to tell for certain.

Sarah Palin will do what Sarah Palin will do. Possibly never, in the history of world politics, has anyone been more unpredictable....and yet more likely to prevail. The most effective asset in a battle are the elements of surprise and momentum. She has both.

You know, I prefer to let the candidates and their staffs speak for themselves about whether they’re running or not. Even if I think they really really suck and shouldn’t bother, which decidedly does not apply in this case. I’m just funny that way.

Aside from the unwanted trait of being wrong on most things political, “Most political analysts” have PDS and for those that do not understand the nature of the PDSer, allow me to ‘enlighten you’ as to how truly insane people so afflicted can be ;)

Now before the usual suspects come out of the woodwork calling ma a rabid Palinista worshiping my goddess, please note that “most political analysts” also think Americans want the Dream Act, Amnesty for illegals, Obamacare, Gays in the military, gay marriage and a litany of other things that we in fact “do not.”

The nature of the PDSer

In a time not so very long ago, a man of logic, reason and rationality, upset by the injustice of the mindless and their baseless attacks upon his candidate of choice, did undertake a quest to discover the nature of the PDS’er.

And so did the man travel to the far corners of the Earth, for in his travels he could find no wisdom, nor wise man, to satisfactorily explain the root cause of Palin Derangement Syndrome, nor it’s effect on those so smitten. It was not until a chance encounter with a Zen Master high atop a remote mountain in Tibet that our hero found his answer.

“To discover the nature of the PDS’er,” said the Zen Master, One must understand the logic of why the sky is yellow.”

Confused by the sage words of the old wise man, our hero listened intently as the knowledge of the ages sprung forth from his old and weathered lips...

“To discover the nature of the PDS’er, One must understand the fact that dogs meow and cats bark at passing cars.”

“To discover the nature of the PDS’er, One must understand the reason why the sun shines brightly in the night sky.”

For what seemed like hours the Zen Master spoke thusly until finally our hero looked upon him and said “Master, dogs do not meow, nor cats bark. The sky is not yellow but blue and the sun shines in it by day, not by night. To spout such nonsense is neither logical, nor rational, nor factual. In fact, you’d have to be nuts to believe any of that!”

And so did our hero gain enlightenment into the nature of the PDS’er.

As far as “Business Insider” goes, it’s political stories tend toward liberal/Democratic views. I’ve seen a half dozen or so the past few months that lead me to dismiss them as anything but supportive of conservative positions.

I want Sarah in the race the same as I wanted Bachman. I think they both bring qualities needed. I think Sarah’s presence in the race will keep it engaging and exciting. She may not be the final nominee, but she will exert a positive influence that is needed. I think her chances of being the nominee are well above 50%. Also, her being in the race knocks Romney & other RINOs chances to well below 50%. IF her and Backman team up, they could rock the GOP in a very positive way. No one is perfect. But their are some good ones like Sarah.

“I just wonder how many of these sanctimonious, self righteous political pundits would be willing to put their money where their collective mouths are? Whether they realize it or not, that is what they are doing.”

On two threads so far I have suggested that we do something similar. Will the losing side/posters in this be willing to post a formal apology to the others if Palin does/does not run? Again, I’m willing to eat public crow if Palin chooses not to run. I believe, based on what I have seen, that she will and if I’m wrong after all the arguing I have done on her behalf, then any rep I have is toast - so be it. I will gladly admit I was wrong.

Will the naysayers and also the flat-out PDSers do the same?

As others have pointed out... what would be the purpose of delaying her announcement if she was NOT running?

Go, Sarah, go!

Also, look at basic history. How many times has the ‘early crowd’ gone all the way? Most take each other out. SP is smartly avoiding this. When she announces, the feild will have narrowed considerably and the also rans will be gone without having been able to use her as a target.

She will only have to fight the battle once or twice, not against every person who throws a hat in the ring.

Sun Tzu, Chess, basic military tactics. But so few seem to get it.
