Conservative muckraker Andrew Breitbart said he believes former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will throw her hat in the ring for the Republican nomination for president.
"My guess is yes," Breitbart said when asked by CBS News Tuesday if he thought Palin would run.
Breitbart, who is featured prominently in the newly released movie on Palin's political rise, "The Undefeated," attended the film's world premiere in Pella, Iowa, where he was greeted by Palin with a hug.
While he explicitly said he was not endorsing Palin, he did describe himself as a "defender" of the polarizing politician.
"She represents something defiant and fearless and righteous and decent," he explained, and said the two hour pro-Palin movie "represents vindication" from her detractors.
But it's not just vindication from the so-called mainstream media. Breitbart called out "establishment Republicans," accusing them of sitting on the sidelines, "watching [Palin] be devoured because they don't want to see her succeed."

That’s the way I see it too, Windflier.
You BETCHA!
That poster hasn't ever been correct about Palin. Only a paid shill would come on this forum and spend so much time and effort trying to convince conservatives to step away from the leading contender on our side.
Palin is vetted the others aren’t. the media will tear them up and spit them out. they have no resume.
the RCP poll has one outlier that makes Bachmann’s numbers appear better than they are. the rest all show her polling +20pts behind obama.
Cain and Bachmann are unelectable.
Not being known is a negative not a positive. it means they haven’t been vetted and the media can paint them how they want.
That's my impression too and I didn't think that weeks ago.
Palin is head and shoulders above all the names you mentioned.
Bachmann is a FLAKE
I have zero respect for Bachmann at the moment
You are RIGHT in reality! I believe we are on the same page, however at this moment in time the LSM/Rep Est pollsters(ALL THE POLLSTERS) are indeed pushing MB to some extent in the polls. These are manufactured polls, and they are indeed pushing MB, but they are manufactured polls!!!
While it`s true MB has some real support, much of her support is just from the LSM/Rep Est (who in reality do NOT really support MB) Chris Matthews/Rachel Maddow/MSNBC/CNN/NY Times/Wash Post ect ect ect
MSM/RepEst, they only support MB because of their hatred/fear of Gov Palin, it`s not genuine support, all MB numbers are totally inflated as we speak, this is not even debatable...am sure I am preaching to the choir in your case.
CNN headline from Dem Reg poll proves my point...the headline was not MB surges to the top, the headline CNN chose to use the other day was...MOVE OVER PALIN...That`s all this means to them, finally someone (they hope) can keep Palin out of the race...MB is only a pawn for them.
I was on to Bachmann prior to the NY Times/MSNBC etc basically adopting her, I warned people.
Much of MB support is not real, but only pushed by MSM/Rep Est.
So the polls that show MB surging are questionable to say the least.
Heck, the Dem Reg Poll has people believing that Romney is leading in Iowa...Romney is the most surprised person on the planet because his internals show the exact opposite.
Romney has no plans to change strategy and dump a lot of money in to IOWA based on that poll, no word that because of that poll he is going to reconsider the Iowa Straw poll and Iowa in general...They know it`s a lie...therefore the entire poll is garbage for all that are in it.
Just taking part in the conversation, my opinion, not aimed at anybody in particular
Muck you, CBS.

That is exactly my perception of what's going on with Bachmann. Aside from a small contingent of enthusiastic supporters on FR, I don't see any evidence of a groundswell of support for her in the broad public.
Yes, conservative talk radio is giving her a lot of attention right now, but that's what they do. They talk about whatever's currently generating buzz, and Bachmann's presidential bid is newsworthy.
Apparently, she did well in the last Republican debate, and that's elevated her visibility.
However, buzz doesn't equal electoral success. In fact, a lot of the latest buzz about Bachmann is negative, or even controversial. In other words, I see a bunch of smoke, but little fire.
Well put!
Cheers,
Jim
Romney is not going to win anything. In a few mos he will be at the back of the pack with TPaw. Nobody wanted him in 2008 and they don’t want him now. Its probably going to be a throwdown between Bachmann (My choice) and Perry. If Palin ran it would probably between Palin and Perry but she is not going to run.
I’ve seen that poster and you on other threads and I never thought either one of you was a paid troll.
Well, unlike the other poster, I don't haunt the threads of candidates whom I don't support, working overtime to undermine them.
Big difference.
Dismissing Romney, is a ridiculous and childish way to try to get back to your preferred fantasy.
Romney is the power, and the machine, and he is in this until the end, this is his last shot, and he will be spending more than the 150 million dollars that he spent in 2008, and this time, he is the one great hope for the establishment and the media. You cannot merely brush him aside for your own convenience.
Ha, Ha. Those 3 couldn’t raise money or a crowd if they had free beer.
You say polls are pointless ... which they are at this point ... and then you quote them.
Which makes you ?? pointless? or desperate?
“Dismissing Romney, is a ridiculous and childish way to try to get back to your preferred fantasy”
In one week Michelle Bachmann has pulled to within 1% of Romney. Thats a fact not a fantasy. She is very well likely to win the Iowas straw poll and she is gaining more traction every day. Remember when everyone thought Rudy Guliani was going to win the nomination big in 2008?
I don’t think its undermining anybody to make the comment that you don’t think they are going to run. Its just an opinion.
