Conservative blogger Breitbart sees Sarah Palin jumping into White House race

Conservative muckraker Andrew Breitbart said he believes former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will throw her hat in the ring for the Republican nomination for president.

"My guess is yes," Breitbart said when asked by CBS News Tuesday if he thought Palin would run.

Breitbart, who is featured prominently in the newly released movie on Palin's political rise, "The Undefeated," attended the film's world premiere in Pella, Iowa, where he was greeted by Palin with a hug.

While he explicitly said he was not endorsing Palin, he did describe himself as a "defender" of the polarizing politician.

"She represents something defiant and fearless and righteous and decent," he explained, and said the two hour pro-Palin movie "represents vindication" from her detractors.

But it's not just vindication from the so-called mainstream media. Breitbart called out "establishment Republicans," accusing them of sitting on the sidelines, "watching [Palin] be devoured because they don't want to see her succeed."

It was reported that Bristol Palin said her mother has decided definitely whether or not she will seek the Presidency. If she has decided not to run, it is curious that she wouldn’t just say so. That tends to suggest that she will run.

I think Sarah Palin is going to sit back and watch what happens with Michele Bachman’s campaign over the next several months. If Michele continues to do well through the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primaries, Sarah will stay out. Most campaigns are flat broke after New Hampshire with the winners only having a handful of delegates. If Sarah jumps in while Michele is still doing well, the Conservative Tea Party votes will be split enough to do great harm to both of them and we will end up with Romney. If Michele lasts halfway through the primary schedule, Sarah will learn from what happened to Michele and enter the race in 2016. If Michele wins the nomination, Sarah could be picked as her running mate. If Michele wins the election without Sarah, Sarah will run for the Senate the next time an Alaska seat comes up for election and won't run for President until 2020.

“You can’t beat Obama.”

She’s likely the only one who can... It’s going to come down to raising money and firing up the base. She would be best at both of them.

In addition, most of them haven’t nearly been vetted yet. She has...

The only politicians in the US LESS popular than Obama right now are Sarah Palin, and Nancy Pelosi.

I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said "Stop! don't do it!"

"Why shouldn't I?" he said.
I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!"
He said, "Like what?"
"Well ... are you religious or atheist?"
"Religious."
"Me too! Are you Christian or Jewish?"
"Christian."
"Me too! Are you Catholic or Protestant?"
"Protestant."
"Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"
"Baptist."
"Wow! Me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?"
"Baptist Church of God."
"Me too! Are you Original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?"
"Reformed Baptist Church of God."
"Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?"
"Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915!"
To which I said, "Die, heretic scum!" and pushed him off.

Please. Put down the Sarah-flavored Kool Aid and read this:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/general_election_palin_vs_obama-1169.html

I know polls this far out are rather pointless...but she by FAR does the worst against Obama. Obama makes almost 55% or better in fact.

If she runs, she will go down like Goldwater.

Exactly. If she has made a decision and it is negative, she should have said so. She is running and there are not enough crows in the world to feed even the FReeper PDSr’s.

“I know polls this far out are rather pointless...”

If you know polls this far out are rather pointless, why do you pay attention. Polls this early have NEVER predicted a winner.

Sarah loves and respects her fellow Americans far too much to lead millions and millions of them along, in a vain hope that she'll run. She's wise enough to have seen this question coming. If she even had the slightest doubt about running, she would have told us in no uncertain terms that she wasn't, many months ago.

Sarah is the ONLY one who can beat barry. I cannot wait until the debates between Sarah and barry.

She is the only one who has the spine and steel b@lls to wipe the floor with his face.

"In addition, most of them haven’t nearly been vetted yet. She has..."

They devoured her entire life, expecting to find a sinner....instead finding a saint (non religious reference).

She walks her talk and means what she says and acts upon it. Who else out there can same the same? NO ONE!

I don't think Sarah's waiting to see what happens with Bachmann's campaign at all. Bachmann may be getting a lot of press, but she's not going to win the nomination. Even if she did win the nomination, and then went on to beat Obama - she doesn't have the skills and experience to accomplish what must be accomplished to fix Obama's damage.

Sarah intends to see this country restored. She understands that this time, it's for all the marbles. She's not going to stand down and let the fight be lost by lesser beings.

We are in for the fight of our lives to save this great country. It's going to take a leader with extraordinary gifts and guts to see us through the coming darkness. No normal politician will fill the bill. It's going to take someone of historic measure. Someone with the heart of the Framers, who is imbued with their revolutionary spirit. It's going to take someone who is fearless in the face of unprecedented adversity and attack - someone who people will follow without question.

The only person on the horizon who comes close to that description is Sarah Palin. She must, and will be the 45th president.

The only politicians in the US LESS popular than Obama right now are Sarah Palin, and Nancy Pelosi.

Ronald Reagan was polling behind Carter by 30% less than a year before the general election of 1980.

That is much less than Sarah Palin's current deficit against anyone.

Using polls at this stage of the game as the foundation of your argument is weak.
