This is worth our time. It is Sarah Palins address, then her joining with Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt for questions and answers, last Saturday 5/22, at the Saturday 5/22, at the University of Denver:
(VIDEO AT LINK)
The event covered the bases of what constitutes inspiring conservatism, to the conventional 2010 mind and Governor Palin was luminous of mind and heart. Some even call her edgy and by conventionalitys standards, she is. But two critical aspects of the doings of 2010 were missing on this evening, again. They are what is never communicated in polite Republican speeches, whether in reference to the current regime in the District of Columbia, or the broader usurpations presently schemed on lower Manhattan Island.
One observation left unexpressed is of the devastating, intentional sabotage of America, by causing its catastrophic economic and moral failure. This gambit of evil doers is intended to result in the transformation of a panicked America into a people thoroughly dependent upon the Marxist/fascist state, while the manipulated, community organized and unioned-up proletariat lead the way, in revolt. Call it Alinskyite, or Cloward-Piven, or Greecification. Call it revolution or insurrection; it is the Marxist method and the reason for the career path of Barack Obama, Saboteur in Chief.
Necessary for that revolution is the other element never fully articulated in the Republican speeches brought at least, to these ears: the elimination of the American sovereignties.(continued)

She’s been supporting rino’s over conservative candidates.
The only RINO she's supporting, as far as I know, is McCain, and she'd have been considered an ingrate for not doing so. Some of the candidates she's supporting are not necessarily doctrinaire conservatives, but, in her opinion, those folks actually have a chance to WIN.
No doubt she’ll improve, over time. She’s come a long way since Aug. of 2008!
I see. The people Palin supports aren’t RINOs, they are just “not necessarily doctrinaire conservatives”.
Hunh. That’s a good phrase. It reminds me of how Arnold Schwarzenegger was sold to gullible conservative voters here in CA. We needed to vote for him “because he could win”, even if he “was not necessarily a doctrinaire conservative”. How did Arnold’s “not a doctrinaire conservatism” work out? About like Bush’s “Compassionate Conservatism”, I suppose.
In my book both entries are found under the heading of “how Republican liberals disguise themselves in order to fool conservatives into voting them into office”.
“I don’t have a problem with her hanging around the less conservative Repubs and Dems.”
That is true if there is interest in winning elections.
She or the candidate she endorses needs their votes.
Sarah has made it clear where she stands on the issues. When she endorses someone, she’s looking for the most conservative of the candidates who she thinks can actually WIN the race.
Reagan delivered a series of 3 minute radio broadcasts in the years leading up to the 1980 campaign. These little speeches were gems, and no one could listen to them without becoming aware of the depth of his thinking and his mastery of the issues of the day. Apparently there were about 1,000 of these broadcasts and I think I managed to hear most of them.
In my opinion these broadcasts were invaluable to his successful run for the Presidency. I’m surprised that no one since then has tried anything similar. But then maybe there just haven’t been any candidates with the talent and intellectual curiosity that Reagan possessed. Our Democrat friends love to boast about how brilliant their candidates have been. It’s a good thing they tell us otherwise we’d never know.
That’s often a popular excuse for supporting a Republican liberal over a conservative. “Just WIN, baby.”
I’ve only heard a few of those talks, but I have read many of his articles. But ask many today and he is still an amiable dunce because that’s how the media portryed him.But if you read O’Sullivans The President, The Pope, and the Prime Minister Reagan’s brilliance shines brightly.
Has she endorsed any liberals?
Those radio addresses have been collected in a CD titled “Reagan In His Own Voice”. I keep thinking I should get a copy and see how many of them I remember hearing.
Other than McCain?
Thanx
John McCain isn’t a liberal. He’s not as conservative as most conservative Republicans would like, but he’s certainly not in the same category as Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
