I see. The people Palin supports aren’t RINOs, they are just “not necessarily doctrinaire conservatives”.

Hunh. That’s a good phrase. It reminds me of how Arnold Schwarzenegger was sold to gullible conservative voters here in CA. We needed to vote for him “because he could win”, even if he “was not necessarily a doctrinaire conservative”. How did Arnold’s “not a doctrinaire conservatism” work out? About like Bush’s “Compassionate Conservatism”, I suppose.

In my book both entries are found under the heading of “how Republican liberals disguise themselves in order to fool conservatives into voting them into office”.

Sarah has made it clear where she stands on the issues. When she endorses someone, she’s looking for the most conservative of the candidates who she thinks can actually WIN the race.
