AUSTIN -- Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson has toured a Dell computer factory near Austin as part of a campaign swing through Texas.
Thompson sat down and spoke one-on-one with KVUE's Elise Hu. He says he wants to hear from companies like Dell to get their views on fair tax policies and global competition.
Thompson downplays the idea that he's at a disadvantage in Texas because he got such a late start on his campaign. He says there's plenty of time to get his message out.
I can't say for sure what FDT really thinks about GW. But, that's a good, reasonable answer and should have mass appeal. I think that all we need a little more time to let the "crisis" resolve itself naturally and his approach would give us that. China won't participate unless they get a fantastic price on carbon credits.
"Carbon credits" What an amazing phenomena. The proponents of GW have created an artificial commodity, to fix a nonexistent problem and then force countries to buy them so they can keep doing what they were doing. I have to admire the scope and simplicity. By using junk science and propaganda to alter public opinion, they have created a way of extorting money and making the people who buy into it and participate feel good, if not a bit self righteous.
But The Hype is starting to fade. More see algore for what he is and sooner or later the weather will change enough that global warming won't be sell able to the majority. The shift has started, it's just a matter of time.
Why the knee-jerk reactions?
He knocked it out of the park.
People don’t understand that although the following response might give the Donutters and Paulistas a hard-on, most people won’t go for:
“Global warming is bullsh*t and anyone who disagrees is a moron.”
I have no idea. Ask them.
His response on Global Warming sounds quite a bit like Rudy Giuliani’s. Not good.
I thought the same thing.
You two guys have nailed it.

Some people think that our planet is suffering from a fever. Now scientists are telling us that Mars is experiencing its own planetary warming: Martian warming. It seems scientists have noticed recently that quite a few planets in our solar system seem to be heating up a bit, including Pluto.
NASA says the Martian South Poles ice cap has been shrinking for three summers in a row. Maybe Mars got its fever from earth. If so, I guess Jupiters caught the same cold, because its warming up too, like Pluto.
This has led some people, not necessarily scientists, to wonder if Mars and Jupiter, non signatories to the Kyoto Treaty, are actually inhabited by alien SUV-driving industrialists who run their air-conditioning at 60 degrees and refuse to recycle.
Silly, I know, but I wonder what all those planets, dwarf planets and moons in our SOLAR system have in common. Hmmmm. SOLAR system. Hmmmm. Solar? I wonder. Nah, I guess we shouldnt even be talking about this. The science is absolutely decided. Theres a consensus.
Ask Galileo.

Read post 32.....Fred gets it.
I am sure each of you have seen the follow on posts concerning Fred’s “Plutonic Warming” editorial, are you man or woman enough to admit you are wrong?
Is that a flip-flop or just another one of Fred’s nonsensical and lame attempts at humor?
Every time Fred attempts to appeal to the RHINO’s he ends up saying everything and nothing. Sometimes he makes no sense at all, sometimes he’s condescending and sarcastic, and at times, his ramblings are left to interpretation, time and again leaving his supporters scrambling to explain, justify, and defend.
You are a hopeless shill.
