RATS and thier willing idiots say polls are getting to the break even point. Reading between the lines for those desperate power hungry crooks this means it is not even close but they want to claim it as close so that they can steal the election though fraud. They are even preparing for the court fight in case they don't stuff enough ballot boxes by mistake , like their screwed up election hijacking attempt in Florida.

Recall: YES: 55-45 sounds right.

Election: Arnold with about 38% of the vote, about 6 or 7 points above Cruz, with McC about 20% or so, and the balance splitting the remaining 10%.

This does give Republicans a bit of a mandate, with 58% or so of the vote, and if Arnold invites McC on his team, he could be seen as a guy who helped save Cali and keep him high profile to go after a Senate seat.

I agree with you.

The odds posted in London as of 2 weeks ago, when they closed the book, was if you bet $1 on Arnuld and Arnuld won you would get back your $1 plus a profit of $.72.

1) Arnold wins recall, vote is much closer than expected.
2) "Fiscal Conservative" Arnold raises taxes within one year and says it's an "emergancy" and if CA doesn't do so, "the children" will be eating cardboard for lunch. RINOs and RATs agree.
3) Arnold signs some screwy gun laws during his term. Arniebots claim Cruz would have signed more.
4) Arnold signs some law that CA taxpayers have to pay for abortions for "poor woman" So much for the idea that the gov's position on abortion doesn't matter.
5) Arnold addersses the GOP national convention, calls for pro-life plank to be dropped and a bunch of other liberal stuff is implimented so the party is more "tolerant". This is narrowly defeated after President Bush comes out against Arnold's "suggestions"
6) In a surprise move, Arnold vetos some bill to cut out illegal-immgrant "services" after saying for a week that he was "undecided" on what to do and "torn" over the decision. Media reports state that Arnold had been leaning towards signing the bill until intense lobbying from his wife and his advisors that doing so would be seen as "heartless"
7) Cruz Bustamente resigns the Lt. Governorship prior to 2006 to run for an office with actual power. The vacated position is filled when Arnold appoints Dick Riordan, who is swiftly confirmed as an elderly "placeholder" Lt. Governor
8) Tom McClintock is under fire from the Arnie bots for refusing to serve massa Arnie and chooses not to run for re-election to the Senate, though polls show he would have won. He is replaced by a loyal RINO Arnie yes-man. Arnie bots hail this as a victory for "pragmatic Republicans" who know how to "comprimise and get things done"
9) California continues to sink into a cesspool and feed up conservatives (the real ones that voted for McClintock) leave the state is droves. By 2005-2006, Arnold' approval rating hovers around 40%. Democrats, despite gleefully passing everything he wanted, blame all the problems on "failed, inept Republican rule" and start a "recall Arnold" petition to get revenge after the Davis recall.
10) Davis elected to the U.S. Senate after laying low for 3 years or so, coming out on a campaign of forgiveness and talking about how he's "humbled" and a "changed man". Pundits find Davis comeback after his political obitunary was written to be a "stunning comeback"

Bookmark for future reference. Research IL, NJ, and TN under recent RINO rule in the past 5 years if you need any more projections on how CA will far under Arnold.

I think it's gonna be a very close outcome. Arnie wins by 4-5% OR LESS. There's a lot of sliming going on...ratz are trying to keep the turnout low...motivating votes for Cruz.

One BIG problem I see...if it is REALLY close and recounts begin...WATCH OUT! Pubbies STOLE the election just like in FL.

The "hold your nose and vote NO Recall" democrats will be no-shows, and the only reliable Davis voters who turn out will be labor, minorities, illegals, radical homosexuals, environmental extremists, trial lawyers, Hollywood elites, journalists, teachers, and both of Arianna's supporters.

RECALL: 60%
Arnold: 50%
BustaMecha: 28%
McClintock: 20%
Others: 2%

Recall happens -- 57% to 43%.

Arnie wins with 45%+.

This is all based on "gut feel" -- which is about as good a way of predicting as anything else, given the state of affairs in California lately!
