Thanks. While the hubby and I enjoyed our time and even benefitted from the conference (renewed vision for him and relaxation and renewed relationships for me), I think it ministered more to our kids.
One thing that I did come away with was that I need to be more of a servant to a particular person who knows my job better than I do. I need to pray for that person to be blessed and blessed incredibly.

69 hours without electricity??!!!! Wow! So glad you and family are safe!
Yes, Molly, looking forward to spending time with grandbabies. Then, next weekend will fly to Phoenix to spend time with college girlfriends. Looking forward to that, too.

Molly, she seems to be doing quite well in the bio class. The professor scores her papers on a ten scale at a nine. Seeing how most of Sarah's papers disagree with the teacher's opinions, I consider that quite good.
The other day the teacher had the class test drive a hybrid car. Nope, no political agenda there. / sarcasm.
Sarah's calculus class is another thing. Lots of studying to do there, but I'm sure she'll pull through.

Yes, there is no way I won't bet on Cassie Cat!! LOL!
While you were at the site, did you see there is a Chrurchill Downs store? I was looking around there yesterday and they have some neat stuff, particularly some of the Derby and Oaks posters.
To: Jemian
I need to pray for that person to be blessed and blessed incredibly. Wise statement. That's what I admire about President Bush...while he doesn't forget he certainly is forgiving.

And Race 9 has a horse named Niccola. Close enough to our friend's name. Could be a winner. LOL
Off to check out the store at that site.

Yes, I found the dress (I think). Due to Iowa Granny's encouragement, I called Talbot's customer service line. The lady found ONE in my size that apparently was a return. It should be here next week.
To: Jemian
Hooray! You're back!
I'm on my way out the door for class, so more later, but I'm glad the trip went well.
Game day, tomorrow.

Okay, time to rub those Rosary beads for the Sox, Twins, Cubs and Marlins on the way to a Boston-Chicago World Series. ;^)

I LIKE the idea of being part of a subversive political group, Molly! :o)
A GREAT time was had by all, was it not?
Dolly, glad your head is better, but 2 hours sleep?? That's not good!
If anyone would like to see a pic of our gathering, check out last night's FR's Finest....

Hey, girl! I'm glad you're being diligent and going to class.
I made the family go to that eatery you and I went to in the middle of that beautiful garden. Anyway, I tried to show them the rabbit, but it became apparent they didn't understand. JT started tearing the petals of the flower into the shape of a rabbit.
I asked our waiter about the rabbit and he laughed. I told him that I had been there with you a few years ago. He said, "Oh yeah, wasn't she that real beautiful girl?"
"Most definitely," I replied. Then, he snatched off a flower that had just begun to open out of the bud. He pulled the petals off one by one and there, emerging from the center was a rabbit! Everyone was charmed and JT learned how to do that so he could show his girlfriend.
I'm going to take my nap now. I'll talk more later.

I noticed that MSNBC is VERY quick to add good news when having to report something bad that happened in Iraq. They seem to be getting the message. However, FNC has nothing to brag about, they have far too many naysayers on their programs.
