We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Remember the Trade Center!!Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave member of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
News from the Death Watch...
...Last night there was a debate, of sorts, between the candidates to replace Grayout Davis. The event turned more into a shouting match with the moderator, in his own words, becoming "dizzy from the quick, loud and aggressive banter."
Elsewhere:
OPEC stunned analysts by cutting crude oil output. Oil prices immediately jumped about 4% on the news.
The military's probe into breaches that have occurred at Guantanamo is expanding.
Computer security experts say the reach of Microsoft's software to the extent it is nearly ubiquitous on desktops is a security threat to the United States as it is also the leading target of malicious hackers.
The former Iraqi Defense Minister, now in United States custody, has been granted immunity from prosecution to induce him to be forthright about that Nation's former WMD program.
The United States may call more reservists for duty in Iraq.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

He said he'd start the Nordic track when his book project was done, so he kept to that plan, thank goodness.
Maybe now with the exercise and the diet, those last few #s will fall away...

The Wild Bunch Part Deux rolled through Ohio today, leaving a trail of burnt rubber, empty candy wrappers and damaged Gore/Lieberman2000 posters in it's wake ;-)

J&W is a very prestigious culinary school. And very expensive. I would love to have gone there.

Hi, kay. Didn't realize you were here.
Sarah is quite excited.
I'm really proud of her. She saved at least 85% of all her paychecks for this colt and all the added expense. We haven't put in a cent. She even bought a round corral to do the training. Knowing Sarah, the little guy will be sitting up, begging and rolling over before long.

John could probably answer better than I can ..... I only know what I'm picking up in snippets on the news and in ads. But I think it is a school to train people for the hospitality industry .... not just chefs but also managers, etc. It's supposed to be quite a feather in Charlotte's cap to get it here.
Glad y'all enjoyed your day! Will check for reports on the other thread.

This reminds me, when I went to go to my eye appointment this morning, I saw a little ball in the driveway in my rear-view mirror. I thought it was a dead bird.
I stopped the car and got out and it was a tiny grey kitten! What to do? Couldn't leave it in the house (one mouthful for Cassie) so I took it to my neighbor's, who informed me that he had discovered that the wild cats who live in the wooded area behind our home had had kittens, AND THEY ARE LIVING UNDER ONE OF THE BUSHES AT THE END OF OUR DRIVEWAY! Aaargh!

This is from Tim Blair, an Australian blogger who comes up with some good stuff once in a while.
BLOODY BIASED CORPORATION
David Steven has produced an analysis of the BBC reporters log during the war in Iraq. Among his findings:
* 76% of all posts that were sceptical of claims made about progress by either side raised doubts about Coalition progress.
* 58% of reports on Coalition progress focused on setbacks, which were also reported in greater details than the 42% of posts that dealt with Coalition successes.
* 60% of posts that analysed Iraqi strategy were positive and 40% negative, 69% of all posts that focused on Coalition strategy were critical and 31% positive.
* BBC reporters seemed much more sceptical about Coalition claims than they were about what the Iraqis were telling them.
A similar work is underway in Australia. Stay tuned.

I'm glad you live so far away. I'm a sucker for kittens, and Trill kept all of the cats. ;>)
