So interesting that you posted that Dylan Thomas poem. I used to teach a bit of poetry in China and that was one of the poems I taught.

It's also interesting because this is something I made and was thinking of posting here, but was afraid it was too somber. But since you posted a poem about death, I guess I can post this.

Rain in the forcast here on the gulf coast, suppose to be some heavey rain at that, we could use it. Need to get my walk in before it starts.

This was the fastest walk in history, walked out the door, started down ther steet, got bout 150 yards, stright out of the clouds it POURED! Sheesh. They say its gonna get even worse later on today.

I've got another Church Dinner to attend today. This isn't a potluck type of thing, but a dinner the Church ladies put on as a fund raiser.

Later in the day there's an Ice Cream Social sponsored by the local Republican Central Committee. I need to attend this, too. Going to an Ice Cream Social where homemade pie is featured will be a challenge for my resolve, but I'll avoid the food table.
