Don't worry about Johnny. He just hasn't been interested in the NFL since John Havlicek retired.
BTW, you do remember that at heart I am a Packers fan. Because my sister had the smarts to marry a great guy from Sister Bay, our whole family finds time to root for the Packers, even if they aren't quite our #1 team to follow.

BTW, a Chef sent a message tonight asking me to be slave labor for a charity function for two hours the night my new job has to build an entire kitchen overnight. It never rains, except it pours.

Yes dear. As a matter of fact. I am quite convinced that EVERYBODY is at heart, a Packer fan.;^)
Well, except maybe those losers in Minnesota. And Illinois.;^)
We even own half of Michigan.....the Upper Peninsula back the Pack; the lower Peninsula is made up of long-suffering Lions fans.
Of the five talent finalist, four were "pop" singers...Tina play cello. Her performance was a stark contrast to the others........

Hmmmm..........sounds like you need a replicator. For yourself. So you can be in two places at once.

HONDO? All State, 1958? Him? With 1223 career points?
I googled it. Don't think I actually follow sports.;>)

Not to change the subject, but the Brits are changing the way they grade their school children's work. It appears the NEA has infiltrated the UK's Education System.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/986402/posts One right thinking fellow referred to the plan as 'twaddle'. What a great word! It about says it all, doesn't it?

He'd better not come to Wisconsin and declare himself a cheesehead!!! We're too smart for that cr**!!!

"N" for "Nearly" replaces "F"........criminy..........

Mrs. Mulliner just said that Miss Wisconsin is in a class by herself. Why the commentators are picking Miss Hawaii is a mystery.
Yes, John, you nailed it. Hondo Havlicek.
Bonus question: What number did he wear for the Celtics?

I was wondering who they were quoting with their predictions.........are they saying who THEY would pick, or what???
To: Mr. Mulliner
I'm not paying aattention to their blather, just the show itself......

Nuts! The game is slipping away from my second underdog pick, Boise State. They just missed a 35-yard field goal that would have given them the lead. Now there's less than 4 minutes left and Oregon State is on a long drive.

Are you following that thread I linked in #96? There are some hilarious comments on it along the line of what you reported your husband said though some carry it a great deal farther. It is really funny reading!

Hope you have fun at the game tomorrow. Going to an NFL game is really quite an experience.
BTW how good are the 'Aints this year??? Will your Titans smack 'em down???

If he came south, he'd probably say he's for Bama one day and then Auburn the next, and then he'd be shown the door!
I like Miss WI. Her talent was the best. The others for the most part sang "one-note" songs. My family likes Miss Maryland.

Haven't been but going now!
Thanks! There are no better comics than FReepers!

She bombed on the history test though.:(

Yes, John, 17 is correct (by my recollection). I'm not believing you anymore when you say you're not a sports geek.
Mozie, only 4 of ESPN's 7 "experts" are picking the Titans to win. That makes me nervous because we're at home and had pretty high pre-season expections.
After losing 33-7 to Indianapolis last week (we beat them twice last year), I'm sure there are a lot of question marks about the Titans. Same is true of the 'Aints as they are 1-1 now and wanting a win pretty badly.
