I'll be driving around Jersey City NJ, looking for celebrating Muslims.
They were celebrating in public 2 years ago, they will surely be celebrating again this year.

What day of the week is that? Thursday? Hmmm... Probably going to work, to pay my taxes to pay for the heros in harm's way putting foot to ass for our country... beyond that, nothing special.

What a WONDERFUL thread!!!
Well, since that's a Thursday and I have a sewing class that night, my teenagers and I will just have to talk about it, won't we? They're getting so much JUNK from school, that I love to counter-balance it with the truth.

I will be traveling to see my oldest daughter graduate from her Navy school in Pensacola, FL. She will not only graduate, she will also become a Petty Officer at that time. As a side note, she was #3 in her class, took a test that was 10% of her grade, scored 98.8%, and dropped back to #5!

I'm going to be an American.
Somewhere that's going to piss off a Mullah.
Mission accomplished.

Buy a new American flag to hang up over the garage. I'm going to cover the red rocket (my Honda scooter) with US flag stickers or something. This weekend is the West Indian Day parade on Long Island and I get US flags very cheap one or two dollars a piece.

Sept 11 is my two grandkids birthday and 01 was a real shocker for all of us here after planning a party for a couple of weeks. Emily was born Sept 11, 1984 and her brother Lucas was born Sept 11, 1988. I doubt they will ever forget 9/11/01...

I am going to remember how I felt that day for as long as I live. On this anniversary, I plan to pray for our President and our troops and thank God for their sacrifices. For the victims of that monstrous act of war against us, and that God not allow a democrat to become CIC so that the war on terror will not cease.

I'll be working in the Operations office at the Coast Guard base.
I'm there every Thursday (sometimes more days) no matter what.
9/11 was the reason I joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Oct 2001.
I was too old to re-enlist in the Navy.
National Guard told me the same thing.

I'll do what I do everyday. Pray. But on 9/11 I'll add in prayer that God just see to the hearts of those that still hurt, to be grateful for our Nation, and for His hedge of protection around our troops as they cut off the fingers of Lucifer and kill his minions of Islam.
"As long as I draw breath, I swear I will never forget the sight of two people holding hands, and leaping from 108 stories above the hard concrete sidewalks that I myself have walked, gawking skyward at one of the wonders of the world. I will not forget them. I will not forget their fall, the spin that finally tore their hands apart as they fell forever, forever down that quarter-mile. I will never stop wondering what they said to each other in that last moment, or their cries to each other as they launched themselves to their deaths, having watched their friends take the same leap a few moments before. I will never forget what an unimaginable hell that their cozy office, full of coffee mugs and pictures of grandchildren, had become in order for them to make that choice, with the ruins of their friends visible on the streets so far below them."

I'll be making some introductory remarks before performing an original composition before the veterens of American Legion Post 88 here in Nashville. This is the second year that the post has held a memorial service in honor of the victims of 9-11. I am very honored to have been asked to participate.

Well, I started to say pray for our country but I do that anyway. I think an additional one at 9AM for the survivors and loved ones left behind a good idea.
That said, I also plan to keep the tv off because I don't want to hear the media hash this over and over and listen to all the so called experts.
To: StarCMC
I expect our kids' school will ask them to wear red, white & blue. If not, they'll do it anyway and so will I. Flags out front by the mailbox too.
To: StarCMC
Hopefully we will have a plane load of troops to meet. I plan to pray a lot.
