My sympathies. We lost our 18 year old persian to old age recently. Even the dogs miss him (no one for them to chase around).

Am I the only one of us that has never been a real Lib??? You're not alone Gabz. I've always been a conservative republican. In fact, this story could have been about me.
A little boy had a litter of puppies that he was trying to give away. A local politician walked by and asked the boy about the party affiliation of the pups. "They're all democrats," said the lad. A few days later, the boy still had the puppies and was still trying to give them away to a good home. The politician happened by again and asked if they were registered to vote and with what party. "They are all registered republicans," said the boy.
"But just a few days ago you told me they were all democrats," replied the politician.
"That's true," answered the boy, "but they've opened their eyes since then."

It seems like it only takes one house in a neighborhood where drugs are used/sold to put everyone else who lives there at risk of everything from annoyance to death.

Camle, I'm sorry for the loss of your cat.
I wasn't a cat lover either. Never had one. I've only had dogs, big dogs. But when I married Cyber, I became a mother to a cat. This cat, Simba, rules the roost here. The dogs mind Simba.
The other night Simba was on the bed with us. He likes to bite my feet. My eldest dog, Side O'Beef, didn't like Simba biting me. He put his head on the bed to tell the kitty not to bite his momma, and Simba swatted him one across the nose. Poor dog!
What I am wondering is, why does the cat only bite me. He doesn't bite Cyber nor the 'bot. First he licks my fingers or toes, then goes into the biting mode. He doesn't claw at all, just bites. He really doesn't bite hard. He doesn't draw blood at all.
This is the cat who caught a bird and laid on it. He didn't know how to kill it. I think he thought he was supposed to hatch it. LOL!

Unfortunately, they have turned it around and insist I only talked to CPS because I was being investigated.
there are really people in this world that are so evil that they will do anything they can to promote their position on anything.

thanx, tex.
When we moved in her about 14/15 years ago(!) the pussy cat was in her prime. She wasn't happy about travelling in a car - let me tell you! We figured on keeppiong her inside for a few weeks to familiarize herself with the house, but the second day she scooted right out between my feet as I went to work. She ran like a shot right into the neighbor's property, and kept on a-goin...
three weeks later, I heard a mewing in the middle of the night, and sure enough, she was up a tree near the rear property line. wouldnt' climb down, and I couldn't go up there to get her.
a few days later she swooshed inside when I went to leave for work, skidded to a halt at the food bowl, and has been an I/O cat ever since.
