My sympathies. We lost our 18 year old persian to old age recently. Even the dogs miss him (no one for them to chase around).

thanx, tex.

When we moved in her about 14/15 years ago(!) the pussy cat was in her prime. She wasn't happy about travelling in a car - let me tell you! We figured on keeppiong her inside for a few weeks to familiarize herself with the house, but the second day she scooted right out between my feet as I went to work. She ran like a shot right into the neighbor's property, and kept on a-goin...

three weeks later, I heard a mewing in the middle of the night, and sure enough, she was up a tree near the rear property line. wouldnt' climb down, and I couldn't go up there to get her.

a few days later she swooshed inside when I went to leave for work, skidded to a halt at the food bowl, and has been an I/O cat ever since.
