It is being reported that two Hamas members were plotting to kill Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon by blowing up his helicopter or attacking his motorcade. It was prevented by their arrest.

AIM: The Phony Scandal

An unsigned CIA memo on Oct. 5 advised that "the CIA had reservations about the British reporting" on Iraq's alleged attempts in Niger, [US Deputy National Security Adviser] Hadley said. A second memo, sent on Oct. 6, elaborated on the CIA's doubts, describing "some weakness in the evidence," such as the fact that Iraq already had a large stock of uranium and probably wouldn't need more, Hadley said.

Yesterday, in the Contra Costa Times (better known as the Communist Times) there was a laudatory "seven-minute phone Q and A interview" with good ol' 97. She said a couple of things I thought you might enjoy:

A. I've experienced both and really prefer New York.

Q. Washington, D.C. in August or Buffalo, N.Y. in January?
A. Buffalo anytime.

Q. American League or National League?
A. Both, because I root for the Cubs and the Yankees.

Sorry I took off on you, folks.

It's been a rather sad past few days.

Last Thursday my best friend's father past away. I've know this man for 50 years. He was like a father to me.

He was a WWII vet who received a Purple Heart after being injured during the Battle of the Bulge.

What an honorable man he was. A man who never took handouts. In fact, he worked 3 jobs to support his family of five.

He will be missed.

My aunt past away this past Sunday. She was ...oh, so.... independent... yet... a very sweet lady....... never wanting to be a burden to anyone.

Her visits and telephone calls were always short, but very memorable because of her sincerity. A quiet little lady with a wonderful sense of humor and a very large heart.

Her final wish was much like her visits...short with no fuss..... again..not wanting to be a burden.

I'm off for the evening to remember and celebrate the lives of these fine people.

After seeing the root canal and New York references yesterday, I felt impelled to read that "interview" and all the while all I could think about was what a lying, insufferable, miserable skank she is. AND, your Q and A was perfect!

I've been meaning to tell y'all that I've been reading Tom Clancy's The Bear and the Dragon. Several things become quite obvious:
He is against abortion, especially partial birth abortion
He didn't think much at all about UOx42
He should be pleased with W as Clancy's president shares some of the same values

I had to check the copyright date to realize the book was written in the final years of UOx42's reign.

The world has gone stark raving mad!

Just now I was watching MSNBC, and they had a debate with a rep. from ICON, (Mel's production company) & a Jewish rabbi.

The rabbi is saying distorted things about the movie...(which doesn't come out until Easter, AND Mel Gibson spent 25 MILLION of his own money to make)

Mel's representative (Jewish himself) hardly got a word in edgewise, it seemed...

Meanwhile, the Episcopal church is about to vote in an openly GAY priest.

May God have mercy on us!!!!
