Precisely the reason .45MAN and I have boycotted Hollywierd for the past almost three years. 99% of what comes out of there is no better than what gets flushed down my toilet.

We have also seen first-hand how Disney has hurt FL and have boycotted them as well. We used to live about an hour from Orlando but refused to support Disney in any way.

Carl Hiaasen's "Team Rodent" is required reading for all Disney-haters.

PS - Great to *see* you Long Cut - it has been absolutely forever!

This outrageous film will be shelved for a season, then when the "people have short memories" theroy kicks in, it will be released.

It is a outrage!!!

I agree with you COMPLETELY about the Mouse House and its effect here in Florida.

I read Team Rodent and it was only confirmation of things I already believed.

I live fairly close to a LOT of very historic, and quite beautiful, Florida attractions. Sadly, they suffer because of the plastic puffery of the Mouse and his clones and hangers-on. I watched my beloved Marineland go bankrupt and decay before my eyes because no one stopped there any more. It's open again, but is hanging on by a thread.

Nope, Feather, it's getting released on July 25th. They pushed it back until after the battle for Iraq...it was already made before that.

You apparently think that America's attention span is longer than the producers of this crap do. i hope YOU're right and not them.

That is *so* true! The masses are driven to the rodent and his icons en masse. It's like a cult - too much so.

Have you ever seen the Disney property Celebration City up close and personal? We went to an art show there 5 years ago never realizing what we were about to experience. It is absolutely, downright *scary.* I kept muttering to myself about how I felt that I had just wandered onto the set of the "Stepford Wives."

Each house had a white picket fence around it. Every blade of grass was perfect. There were no cars parked on the streets, nor were there any driveways visible from the street. Each house had an alley running behind it to "hide" vehicles - I mean, after all, it's hard to control the make, model and color of each car in the neighborhood.

I didn't see one child out playing in any of the yards.

I was physically ill by the time we left, vowing *never* to return.

PS...I *do* however want to return to FL. Been trying hard to find work for the past 4 months, but it has been tough.

GREAT NEWS! The movie's a bomberoo!

Box Office Mojo has the wonderful news!

To summarize, it was a $15 million production, and to date it has made only fifty grand!

Thanks to ALL those who spread the word, and kept the faith!

The poster tells it all, they should be ashamed...but then they'd have to have morals for that.

They really have fallen, haven't they? They actually USED to make good films. I have a Special Edition DVD of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea which I treasure, as it's such an outstanding film.

It'd NEVER be made by the modern, Eisner'd Team Rat.

The liberal media, and the Marxists in Hollywood are in trouble, but they will be the last ones to acknowledge it publicly.

With respect to the real Buffalo Soldiers especially those who served in the 9th and 10th Cavs and men such as the Tuskegee Airmen, I am not crazy about this movie. Mainly the title.
