We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The United States 101st Airborne Division raided a terrorist training camp in Iraq, killing at least 70.
Hamas has vowed to "tear Israel to pieces" after the latest attack by the Jewish state upon Gaza.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Looks like great adult cuisine to me, too.
How lucky you are to be close to your grandchildren.
My son has moved back this way and will be within 1 1/2 hours away instead of 7-9. It looks as though I may be seeing my grandson more often. I couldn't be happier.

They are looking to buy a house (they currently rent the dil's family home while the parents are running a Bed and Breakfast an hour south of here). I am hoping they move to this side of town and then they could be here after school.
We shall see. At any rate, it's nice to have them here once a week or so in the summer.
To: Mr. Mulliner
Glad you are home.
Sad. So much violence.

We missed a lot of the excitement from last night, but we did have some excitement of our own. When we finished showers and were going to our tent, we clearly heard the moans (what many people described as demonic sounding moans) coming from a big, mouthy student being restrained face down about 20 yards from our tent.
Most of my kids have been restrained somewhere along the line in their time of state custody and the sound of this very tormented soul crying out in pain, deep anger, and anguish awakened those memories for them.
To make matters worse, the two staff restraining him are white and the student is black (and very dark skinned) so a couple of my black students let that feed into their negative, racist thoughts, as if the kid was totally innocent and the whities were torturing him or something. I had a heck of a time getting those thoughts out of their head long enough to get them to bed.
I don't know if it was excitement over that or just that I had too much coffee, but I don't think I slept for more than 30 minutes last night. I'm zonking out and need to take a nap.

German mayors "push" (BEG) to keep U.S. bases: (75% of troops to Leave!)Also, I was quite proud of hubby yesterday. He's not as fanatic as I am on some subjects ..... nor as interested in things political.
We needed a pair of new tires for my car and hubby went shopping for some yesterday.
When asked what kind he wanted, he told the guy that he did NOT want anything with a French connection ....... :-)
I now have a couple of Perellis (sp?) on my car .... an Italian manufacturer.
He said that the guy at the tire shop laughed and said "I understand" when he made the remark about French tires.

I think I know where all the global warming went... It's pretty warm here today - upper 80s, with much humidity (60%, give or take). T-storms tonight and tomorrow, then next week will be very nice.
ALL - I'm heading home.

Congrats on those fine Italian tires. And "good on him" for stating he didn't want anything with a French Connection. Your influence is beginning to show, Sweetie!

Well we are back...what a GRAND time we had with Molly and her Hubby...
The one hour tour was just enough as it was sprinkling intermittently throughout the morning...then we headed back north a bit to my favorite restaurant on the Hudson, Cena 2000...we had a very hearty lunch..fantasitc conversation and laughs...and if any of you get a chance to meet Molly I say without reservation, a SWEETER, joyous person you will NEVER meet.
Pics won't follow until I get them developed but I can and will post a few when that happens.
Molly will be home sometime Sunday and will post her after-action report.

Well, here I am again. After the hot dogs we played TWO games of Chutes and Ladders. Then the sun came out again, so we went back down to the pool where they swam for an hour and a half, and then the thunder and rain started again!
We are now home enjoying ice cream and watchiing "The Land Before Time, Part VI" (annoying cartoon dinosaur movie) and I am drinking a cup of coffee! LOL!
