I have been periodically checking in on that owl, and she seems to have 6eggs in the nest and then there are at least 3 other eggs off to the side....

Thats lots and lots of eggs...wonder how many of them will actually hatch...so far, I have seen the owl sit only on the 6 eggs in the nest, and not on the 3 off to the side...

The mountain is out.....what a glorious sight...

Many years ago, we all went up to Mt. St Helens, on the old road, I think it was Rte 12 out of Randall....we drove on this rickety one lane gravely road, getting as high up as we could on Mt. St Helens....when we finally got up there, and then climbed even further on the rickety path, it was a beautiful clear day....

Looking to the north, ,we could see Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Baker, and all the other high peaks of the cascades....right near us, we could also see Mt Adams...

It was so beautiful up there that day, we hardly wanted to come down and go back home...we sure do have some beautiful and wonderful peaks in our state...

Today is my birthday. Hubby bought me a new Ruger single six 50th anniversary edition .22 revolver. Very nice! He also bought me a pair of white gold earrings (hoops) with tiny diamonds in them. Guns and diamonds! What else could a girl want?
