The mountain is out.....what a glorious sight...

Many years ago, we all went up to Mt. St Helens, on the old road, I think it was Rte 12 out of Randall....we drove on this rickety one lane gravely road, getting as high up as we could on Mt. St Helens....when we finally got up there, and then climbed even further on the rickety path, it was a beautiful clear day....

Looking to the north, ,we could see Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Baker, and all the other high peaks of the cascades....right near us, we could also see Mt Adams...

It was so beautiful up there that day, we hardly wanted to come down and go back home...we sure do have some beautiful and wonderful peaks in our state...
