May all of the unpatriotic SOB's in the "industry" meet a similiar fate.
It's easy to bash Bush when no ones life is on the line, but when 10-15 and more brave American soldiers are killed each day it takes a special kind of scumbag, like Hanoi Jane, to step up and really let us know just how much they hate America.

May all of the unpatriotic SOB's in the "industry" meet a similiar fate. Seconded! Performers have a right to say whatever stupid thing they want - and we have a right to spend our money wherever we want.

*sigh* I hate it when my posts are ghettoized to chat. Where discussions go to die.

This auction was withdrawn before it ended - probably because the seller got a private offer on the tickets. It doesn't mean that nobody would have bid on them before the close of auction. Just 2 cents from someone who sells concert and sport tickets on eBay...
To: Stone Mountain
Check the dates, though. This auction was live for ten straight days. Why would someone come in and suddenly offer $600, or even $6, for tickets that the seller would be legally bound to sell for two cents with a snipe bid? (It wasn't a reserve auction.)

Now if you could show a drop-off in prices since the time Natalie made her comments, you might have something! We have, in a number of Dixie Chicks threads since Natalie opened her big fat mouth. The day this all started, we went and looked at just-closing auctions, and the majority of the really good tickets were going for anywhere between $700-$1200 or more, with most auctions having had a dozen or more bids, and there were almost zero auctions without any bids at all. I'm looking at the just-ending auctions now, and the majority are in the $100-$225 range, with only a few bids, and maybe 1/4 to 1/3 having no bids at all after ten days.

Amusingly, the original set of tickets with which I started this thread
have indeed been relisted, where they're currently going for a whopping $22.16.
Not bad, considering their face value is $130.

Oh hey did you notice the shipping on those tickets? They must be made of lead and packed in a copper envelope! That guy is trying to get his money back big time.
