That's CNN for you. They must have thought it was the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Well, the light is probably slower from those cheapo kind of flashlights.

What is the speed of dark? No one ever talks about that, do they.

Yeah - they don't talk about it, but I have seen some pretty fast darkness!

I have a landing light from a C-5 (just the bulb) and hooked it up to a battery once, man, was it fast! Thought about building a bracket to hold it atop an off-road light bar. Problem is it's made to run on 24 volts.

I feel that, if we cannot attain the speed of light, maybe we should pursue the speed of dark instead.

The speed of light is relative. The speed of dark is an orphan.

What if a car could go the speed of light.... what speed is the light travelling from it's headlights?

Think about this one:
If you are driving your car at the speed of light,
and you turn your headlights on,
what happens?

Light travels faster if you grease it.

Let us see ----
C (speed of light) = 186,273 miles per second
times 18 = 3,352,914 miles per second.
That means it would get from here to the Sun in 27.7 seconds.

It would get from LA to New York in about .0009 seconds that is 9 ten thousands of a second.

WOW, not only did CNN invent warp drive - they reported it first.
