Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I hope you yelled BACK at the nurse!! I did. She called security. I upset my Grama very much with that. I left the room before security got there. My mom was still with Grama. The hospital wouldn't even take a complaint. They said the nurse in charge is in charge. (anger is mounting again this was just 3 weeks ago - the day before my birthday)

I still like to enjoy a deep breath of second hand smoke every now and then as yukky as that sounds. LOL!! When I read that, I thought of my late Daddy in Law. He had to stop smoking back in the late 80s because of heart trouble. Mama in Law still smoked, and when she'd light one up, he'd sit across the table from her and enjoy HER cigarette! But the doctor finally convinced her to stop smoking as well. They were hilarious sitting there!

I married someone my dad commented would make a good husband one time. He was the one that caused daddy to eventually give me my first handgun.

The leak appears to be in a pipe ABOVE the slab, praise the Lord. it's in a very unavailable part of the kitchen, and the guy basically showed it to me, told me how to fix it and left. I can't fix it. I'm calling the original plumber.

Well, I will admit that the last boyfriend I had that my Dad actually liked, he liked mostly because of the Mercedez 560. Course, I liked the guy too. I was a doormat, but a doormat on a pretty nice doorstep.
And my dad has bought me every handgun I own already!
