The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I just called the cardiologist my mom and family go to, and he doesn't accept my insurance (BCBS PPO! HUH?!), Can you check online with your insurance company to see if there is another Cardiologist in your area who IS on the approved list? Then check with your family's cardio guy to see if he (or she) knows the new one.

I got her the DVD Legally Blonde. She hasn't seen this. That is sucha GOOD movie. I was prepared for a dippy chick flick, but it was smart and hilarious and even SSQ liked it!

Where'd everybody go?
Okay I'm ready to take the boycott thing to the next level...does anyone have a good snack cracker to replace Stonewheats? (Made in Ottowa) It has to go well with cheese. :)

Hi there, bye there. I have church tonight - Maundy Thursday service - and I've gotten ready and am walking out the door in minutes.
Uh, I hope to be around later tonight, but... you would not believe how messed up our extended family is right now. This house is like the calm spot in the center of the hurricane and I fear something's going to hit us any minute.

Well, I am not sure the relationship really could have worked... I mean, His pets may love my pets, but where would they build a home together? Perish the thought!!! LOL

That is sucha GOOD movie. I was prepared for a dippy chick flick, but it was smart and hilarious and even SSQ liked it! I totally agree. I didn't think it would be very good but we were in the middle of winter and ready to see something summery. So, we tried it. Loved it. But, the whole time Myranda and I both kept saying, "wow, this is Jill." "That's exactly what Jill would be like."
Since they're in Germany she hasn't had an opportunity to see it yet. I know she will either love it or hate it. You know, sometimes it's hard to see ourselves. But, I think she'll love it! Anyway, she likes chick flicks.

I suppose as a professor, he was just used to eating free in the cafeteria all the time?

doing the same thing this time next year! I'm excited for you, too! Do you have an area in mind?
We're just back from the mtg and swung by the place before hitting Denny's (where I had a nice sloppy burger...), and we now have a well! Wheeee!

Re the house- very exciting and veeeeeery stressful. We are so anxious to be out of the condo and into a place with space.
To: Overtaxed
Does it have a taste? Can't recall ever eating some straight.
