Since I am approaching my one year anniversary of being a "freeper" and since I have never contributed a dime to FR, jim or the republican party, I am going to beat the powers to be at FR and voluntarily leave, rather than have them come up with one of the cock and bull stories to ban me.

Speaking of typos...I worked in California at Lloyd's Bank years ago, in the Equipment Leasing Dept., as Leasing Secretary I think it was. (whatever) Back then we used typewriters and carbon paper. Well, I was addressing the letter to two lawyers, so I listed the two names and then their title, "Partners," only, well, I typed an "F" instead of a "P".
My boss was a very good proof reader and sad to say I made too many mistakes. Unfortunately, he did not catch this one. He, of course, was the signer of the letter.
He received a call the next day saying "What do you mean by "Farthners?" Etc..etc...they all laughed about it for the rest of the time I worked there.

"His" name is Timothy? Maybe I'm missing the point of your question but, I'll try to explain. "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain" doesn't simply mean don't say His name flippantly. It means don't take (use, wear, put on, etc.) His name flippantly.
In other words, I shouldn't parade my faith and identify myself with the Lord -- "I'm a Christian," "I love the Lord" or, "Look at me; 2 Timothy 3:16 is my favorite verse!" -- and then go to great lengths to make a public fool of myself. I shall not do disservice to His name.

Well, I am at school right now, but I am still a minutes walk from beautiful, but cold Lake Michigan.
The North Shore is great, don't you know? There is just nothing like the shopping, restaurants, and atmosphere, like the North Shore.
