Thank you Mr. Robinson for opening up your living room for us here on ATRW. Without your graciousness and unwavering support this place would not be possible.
We come here from all corners of the world and have developed a long lasting friendship that knows no bounds.
One of the most poignant things about ATRW is that it is often considered a place to call home. Everyone here supports each other through many different ways.
We have come to each other in times of need, for prayers, comfort, reassurances. We have shared the joy of new life, the sadness of loved ones passing.
We have encourged those going through trying times, be it as a result of unemployment, family troubles, inner conflicts, or life changing decision making.
I can't think of too many other places on ATRW where one can go and bare their soul and have a greater group of people love, support and be totally honest, at times when it is needed most.
We also have some rather prolific posters who gather here to provide important links or simply opine on the political nature of the day.
I have learned much by being a member of ATRW.
I have made many, many lasting friendships on ATRW.
That said, I would now like to thank Jim Robinson for giving us our little space on the Cheese Side of FreeRepublic.
Our "HOME" away from home.
Without your generosity Jim, it would not have been possible.
I hope our posting decorum, our political activism, our unwaivering support for you and one another, our troops, and our President has helped to make FreeRepublic what you want it to be.
You deserve much credit Jim and we thank you very much.

OM, you put it so well, thanks, ITS A GOOD A.M. TO ALL IN FREEPER LAND, USA FROM THE MS GULF COAST, USA!!!!
I delivered cheerleading uniforms yesterday, me and gd. Going from house to house of the cheerleaders moms, I was blessed with the rah, rah, rahs, all the arm movements, the cheers (sure wasn't the one I use to cheer), oh the innocence of youth, gotta say, one long smile on my face all afternoon.
Did you see OUR President W speak in CA yesterday? man, he can put the 'golden words' on the public, right? How can you NOT like him.
Its grass cutting day, again today, twice a week, but after putting that little tommy d. on it, its so green, like you painted the green on it with a brush. It has been raining a lot here so, it is growing by leaps and bounds. Oh well, good excercise.
My tractor is down, electrical probloms, s-i-l working on it but I told him last night to just fix it so I can bush hog the farm in another week, all this rain has really made it grow. Back feeling much better so I am ready to go. I still have a lot of brush to clear and I have started my prayer park. By the way, I thank all of you who suggested plants and flowers to put out, I plan to put a lot of your suggestions to work there. I will have several rosses around the Cross and am putting a couple of dogwood trees in the park as it is belived the the Cross itself was dogwood. I will have to fence the entire park in, the goats I am going to have will eat it all up if I don't.
Think I will crockpot me a roast today, lots of garlic, onions, mushrooms, ahhhhhh. So, off to see what all items I have and then off for cup # 3 at d house. Prayers for all to stay safe from illness and accidents, for those in need of special prayers and, for OUR President W, he can use a double portion of prayers by us and, for the elderly, its all the little things we do that add up to one big thing. YOU have a good day.

Nita, great opening for the weekend edition!
Mr. Robinson, that you for this ciber home.
Bit, thank's for the Daily Update - it's much appreciated.
Really late to the "party" today because Rocke has had another gall bladder attack and I've been busy cleaning up puke -- as the missing Josephine would say. Wish I could find a vet that had a magic solution to Rocke's problem! Or, maybe even a magic solution for cleaning up.

I think the
NY Times is maybe trying to save their reputation. The editorial linked below is not hawkish, but is much more sensible about the Iraq issue than what they tried to pass for a leading story this week. It actually has some pretty sharp barbs for the Times' coverage of Scowcroft's article and straightens out the interpretation of Kissinger's views.
