Is there a white muddy swampy area within 500 miles of SL?

Yes, it would explain those statements. Her mother, in particular, would know what Elizabeth's "necessities" were.

Name me something I stated that we haven't been told countless times.

I named about twenty of them and you only refuted one by rewording it.

I think they're watching the family in action to decide whether they honestly don't know, or, are sincere, and I think they're watching to see how long before this person screws up and falls to his knees. Don't forget the family has been doing things without the cops knowledge, and the family has been saying they're innocent,etc..remember the interview when Tom said they have "issues" etc. they've ripped their family apart. Also, Tom's loose lips, out of context lines, cost him a few missed sessions on tv, bet the family wasn't happy. Plus, it's clear as ever, as many of us agree, that Lois' body language when near her hubby, also says something..I watched online an interview Ed and Lois were sitting next to each other, Ed had his arm around the back of Lois' chair, not around her...I found that interesting. What supposed kidnapping have you ever seen a family act like this one?

You should have been a shrink rather than an attorney. If you had been formally trained in that discipline, maybe your psycho babble would be convincing. Ed Smart putting his arm on the back of a chair instead of around Lois means something? Ya, it probably means that the chair she was sitting on wasn't conducive to the latter. Any guy can tell you that.

Maybe the man had waited around so long, he needed to relieve himself.

Why would he take her in the bathroom, to see him p?? Doubt it. He could've went to the bathroom outside or in the house before he took her since they were all sleeping like logs.

I think your analysis makes the most sense thus far. Tell me what your opinion is, Why is the solving of this case taking so long?

I believe it was because the perps planned the kidnapping very well and went to extreme measures to hide evidence i.e. the newspapers all over the floor in the Jeep. Ricci did not want to go back to the slammer.

That is the whole crux of my post...THE TIMELINE. If he had to do ALLLLL of that between about 2 and 6:00 a.m. he would have alot to do !

And your timeline was full of holes.

IF Elizabeth's abductor took her into the bathroom

If I remember correctly, the ONLY source of this info was the Globe. I wouldn't bet the farm on its accuracy.

For someone who's supposed to be so upset that his daughter is missing, I find him as a cold fish to his wife. Why isn't he comforting her? And, if you're right about the chair, his arm on the back of the chair appears to be that he is so relaxed and hasn't a care in the world.

BTW, what info did you receive from your cop friends at the SLCPD regarding this case since you try to portray that you know it all and everyone else is wrong?

But now he's back in the slammer. How do you predict this will play out?

You better take that back because you're going to lose the farm..this SAME question was discussed before and the article where it was stated was posted.

"Mary Katherine gave a description that led the authorities to Richard Albert Ricci......."

This is the first I've heard of this. I wonder if it's factual or just bad journalism.

Hold the phones, this is the first I've heard of Mary Katherine giving police a description of Ricci. You're right, free, is it more info or just bad reporting???

It's not a Mormon thing not to have phones in the bedrooms, we didn't have them in the bedrooms when I was growing up because there wasn't money. My sisters' kids don't have phones in their bedrooms because they have a hard enough time getting family time together, and the kids just disappear totally when they have phones in their rooms.

I'm not familiar with Utah. Actually it couldn't really be swampy because apparently he was driving around in it. I wonder if it was raining in Utah around Jun 7-8.

The revised description of the kidnapper 2 weeks into the case, given at the same time as the revised quote of the kidnapper by the way spoken to Elizabeth instead of MK, is a description of Ricci's attire because it came from clothing taken by the police in searches of Ricci and his in-laws trailors and shacks. Why did police decide to change the description of the kidnapper's attire from the kidnapper's attire to Ricci's attire? I have no idea, but it revolves around LE's paranoia of releasing any information to the public that will point to the actual kidnapper. Why are they hiding him? Why won't police tell Ed Smart who the kidnapper is and why they're hiding him? Why are police advertising they're not going to make an arrest as long as Elizabeth or her body don't show up? You tell me.

BTW, what info did you receive from your cop friends at the SLCPD regarding this case since you try to portray that you know it all and everyone else is wrong?

I haven't recieved much of value. The detectives are keeping the critical information very close to the vest. Information I have recieved has been shared previously. In spite of what you and a few others on these threads would have us believe, there are KNOWN facts in the case. They have been revealed in the media at press conferences and interviews with key witnesses. Some of the statements by the police and others are often mis-quoted here and elsewhere and sadly they are believed and assumed to be correct, leading to totally different conclusions.

A prime example is the oft quoted "trusted member of the community". A little digging not only proved that the officer never said "trusted member of the communithy", but what he did say substantially broadened the entire context to include Ricci and others.

Another example comes from a statement I made the other day about Smart not hiring Ricci back after the theft. Brigette was confident that I was mistaken and produced several links that could be interpreted that way. I was just as adamant that I had heard or read a Smart statement saying he wasn't rehired. Fortunately, Sherlock found the quote.

No, I'm not always right, but I'm a very detail oriented person. You and and a few others seem to be more in the touchy-feely aspects rather than cold hard facts. All of your cheap shots at Ed Smart miss one very important fact. He passed his polygraph, so it doesn't make a damn bit of difference whether you or anyone else likes his body language.
