Thanks Palo.. Guess it's just glitchy for me today...

Afternoon there - your pic and mine, have made this thread hack a little here. I can't imagine what it would do to a dial-up freeper.
Have you checked with DirecTV.com to see if they have DSL available to you? They're running a special of 30bucks a month for 3 months, plus free modem, free installation, a free printer, and then 50bucks a month thereafter.
Plus you get to get rid of the dedicated phone line, and you should stay connected at around 1.5mbs download speed. A super deal if it's available to you.

Hi Mom.. Just woke up from my nap.. I think I need a coffee fix.. Did it cool off there for you? It's hotter than Hades here today.
Predicting bad thundershowers all up the coast. We never seem to get them tho..
Just turned the weather channel on and there was another alert in Me.. Seems to be getting closer..
Oh, oh.. now ones coming for our county.. Sun's out right now, but they are moving fast I guess.. Will get this in before I may have to shut down..
To: palo verde
I arrive and you leave...have a good swim....
Finished up the bill paying and grocery store shopping chores....got the dinner mostly done, made the salad, got the coffee perking....made BigDoms lunch, and its ready to be packed up, just before he leaves...
Got Dizzy his treats at the store...as usual, as soon as I came home from the store, he had his nose in the bags, looking for goodies...he was mad at me this morning, as I ran out of his special treats....got a big supply of them at the store tho, so now hes all happy...
Its going to be another warm one here today, tho I think, not as warm as yesterday....practically no one out here(except for the rich folks) has air conditioning....I guess its not really worth the price, for the very few days we get per year, that actually require air conditioning...
Tho, I am glad the warm weather is here, for the son, as he bought his motorboat, and would like to have it warm enough, to get some good use out of using it, and going water skiing...
To: grannie9
Stay safe Gran...we need you here, to post kiddie pics...I always need my Chloe fix...
To: lodwick
Actually, I did not wake BigDom up...he worked all night, and if I woke him up to lug groceries in, he would not be too happy....hes happy to lug stuff in on the weekends, but not during the week....
So I had to lug all that crap into the house myself....(puff, puff, moan, groan, crick-crack in my knees)...
I try to spoil BigDom during the week...hes been working 11 hours a day, and altho the overtime pay, is especially nice, he does get awfully tired...

No dsl lines available here yet.. Last place in the country I think. I had my cable hooked up on Friday and haven't been able to get it running yet. They say too long a wait.. Of course it took three days of run around and trying to program it, before I got another 72 hour wait told to me..
So I'm sort of half-assed. ( Iused @ for the a in half-assed and made a link to someone's mail on aol, lol, so I put the a in..) Almost there, but not quite.. Usually AOL is very fast for me, but I think this "almost cable" is causing a little havoc... The box I mean..

Here come the winds.. I'd better shut down. It's getting really black in the west... See you later... There goes the cable.. Almost stayed out.. Bye

Hi, Palo...and all the gang,
Just a drive by to let you know I am alive and well. Been having a Menieres attack the last few days not too bad but the buzzing can DRIVE ME NUTS.
Nacho is being difficult today..does not want to take him meds andfluids..have to be patient with him...
Got the grand kids 2 of the 8 coming out for a visit soon..got lots to do..one is 12 and the other 13...both boys. Thank god for gramps who will take them camping..Hope they don't bring frogs home.....snakes would be worse and poison oak will make me leave home LOL
To: grannie9
We dont have DSL, here in Olympia either...my son says, thats because we are out in the boonies....it drives him nuts when he comes down here to use my computer, because he is used to DSL, up in the big city of Seattle....
To: celtic gal
My hubby was a snake bringer home when he was a lad....used to scare his grandmother all the time....
My boys loved all manner of reptiles...they loved to scare me with squirmy things....I hate snakes...they make me run away....
Gramps taking the boys camping is a great deal...I started both my boys out camping in the tent, before they were a year old...they grew up loving camping...camping is so good for kids...to be out in the open air, cooking outside, eating outside, sitting in front of a campfire...those are incedible adventures for children, and they provide for wonderful memories, when those kids grow up, and hopefully pass the love of camping on...
Sorry your poor Nacho is having a hard time...its so hard, when pets get sick....
To: grannie9
Now dont blow away Gran...you may land in Oz, and wont be able to find your way back...

Hi,
Good to hear from you. Yes it is hard when our fur children dont feel well. We can only guess and what they feel and try to help them. Nacho has some really good days and today is slower. cours he would do better if he would not fight me when he needs his meds and fluids. They make a difference..but he just hates it all.
got to get some work done..been foolling around all day..and tomorrow gets busy..I have filing to do :( and I hate that chore....

hi habs
I've been lurking on FR threads bout stockmarket
the posts are interesting
many posters are brokers and all are in the market
and knows lots bout it
the issue seems to be corruption
investors dont want to invest in company where they are not sure those in charge are honest
Love, Palo
