Argh, if you are still here, would you please hand me a Miller Lite? Thank you sooo much ! The guys just finished installing our new air conditioning system, it is getting nice and cool, and I am off now, so I can drink. It is a bummer to have to spend that money just before selling the house, though-I just paid this same installer a bundle to install nine tons on the new house. I told him not to spend it all in one place!

Gabz, I found out that replacing the compressor was damn near as much as a whole new shebang, so I am going for the latter.

i coulda told you that darling!!!!Only thing saving me right now is that a friend had to window units that we are borrowing right now. Can't pony up the $$ to replace unit at moment.
