We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail![President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our military who have laid down their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Spring starts today. I believe it is at 12:16 PM ET (this is what I remember, anyway) - don't miss it.
MID-EAST THEATER OF OPERATIONS
According to CIA Director Tenet, Iraq has had contacts with Al Qa'eda, and that tactical cooperation is indeed possible.
A suicide bomber kills five on an Israeli bus.

China is warning the United States that its current policy toward Taiwan will cause relations with Beijing to suffer.
Reported yesterday - France is saying it "will review" its policy of cooperation with the United States concerning September 11th if it seeks the death penalty for Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person charged to date in the attacks on New York and Washington and who happens to be a French national.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Is that what they call what they're doing? Let's see, they've offered no support or information whatsoever. They've criticized our every decision and even threatened us. Yeah I guess you could put that one under "cooperation".
Good morning!
In case others didn't notice, to get comments you now need to click on the FINE PRINT under the titles News/Activism or General. I wasted a lot of time this morning trying to figure that one out. I have no further comments at this time, except to say it reminds me of when the grocery store went to scanners and took the prices off the individual items (continuing the grocery stor analogy from last night).
Actually, Maria got us up and I decided I might as well go in to work.
These changes have all been very confusing. I'm supprised we've been able to stumble into here. Might also explain why we haven't heard from some people in a while.
Hurray for SPRING!!

I heard a funny story today. Over spring break, somebody in one of my classes met a person who had been housesitting for a neighbor in New York city.
The neighbors Beagle died and the sitter didn't know what to do. They called the vet and the vet said to go ahead and bring the dead dog to the clinic and they would dispose of it, so the sitter put the carcass in the only container they had, a suitcase.
They called a taxi, and as they were approaching the taxi with the suitcase a stranger stepped forward and offered to help them with the suitcase. The sitter handed the suitcase to the stranger, and the stranger ran away! Some haul.
AMERICAS WAR ON TERROR Day 191
The news as reported in The Washington Times:
[Note All links go to The Washington Times website.]
1. President Bush called on the Senate to pass amnesty legislation for the illegals in this country. IML Daschle doesnt want to bring it to a vote until next month. < /font>
[I dont believe it should come to the floor, period. Either you have immigration requirements, or you do not.]
( Bush urges Senate to grant amnesty )
2. US Intelligence sources believe that The Evil One was injured during American attacks on Afghanistan, and stays close to his top aide, Egyptian physician Ayman al Zawahiri.
[Ok, another dead man walking.]
( Bin Laden likely injured by strikes on Afghanistan )
3. CIA Director Tenet yesterday refused to rule out the involvement of either Iraq or Iran in the September 11th attacks.
[Dead countries walking.]
( CIA won't rule out Iraq, Iran )
4. The Peoples Republic of Maryland voted down a bill in committee that would have authorized localities to use photo radar devices.
[Hate to have to agree with Maryland, but they are right on with this.]
( Maryland rejects radar cameras )
5. Calls for a world tax to help poor nations has arisen at a conference in Mexico the President is scheduled to attend; the White House immediately dismissed the idea of such a levy.
[All these good for nothing do-gooder leaches thinking up a thousand and one things to do with OTHER peoples money. Thank you President Bush for protecting our wallets and pocketbooks!]
( White House spurns renewed calls for world tax )
6. Israel said that, if the violence stops, Arafat would be free to travel to an Arab summit next month, but also said he would most likely not be free to return if violence started up again.
[Excellent choice presented by the Israelis.]
( Arafat gets incentives for truce )
We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

Now you have the info, go support the United States of America!!!
But why do I feel like in FR we had the Constitution, but now have digressed to the Articles?
Only in New York.
Former U.N. Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali in 1996 proposed similar taxes on airline tickets and international currency transactions.
The plan so irked then-Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, Kansas Republican, that he proposed a bill mandating a U.S. pullout from the United Nations if such a tax was approved or even discussed.
I say it's high time we follow Bob Dole's lead and tell the UN to get lost. This is a recycled version of a failed liberal idea, the "Great Society" writ large.
