The response was impressive and I started wondering what movies you would list about the actual election. So go at it.
I will start with "Little Big Horn".
I would have chosen "Pork Chop Hill" but we weren't saved by reinforcements.
And as far as I know they never made a movie called "Nightmare on Main Street".

"Doctor Zhivago"
I'm not sure I understand the question.
As far as a movie depicting the disasters of communism I like the old movie "Doctor Zhivago"
It's an old movie and long. It depicts a young doctor during the Russian Great Revolution or Civil War When Lenin took over around 1917 I think, I'm not quite sure historically what they call that time period. Either way it has the doctor being torn in love for his wife with which he loses and tries to find again and a young nurse he ends up being in love with while being drafted to work on both sides of the Russian Civil war. I think it is good showing how communism treats people very badly.
