50% of America is either evil or stupid

Posted on 11/03/2026 7:39:01 AM PST by 2nd Amendment

I'm just repeating what is posted daily of FR. According to the polls (as biased as they are!) America will shift either gradually or dramatically to the left today. I have some uninformed ideas about this move leftward. Here are some of the positions the majority of the democratic party are espousing and are endorsed by at least 50% of the electorate. 1. Socialism is far superior to capitalism and we need to tax wealthy people to equalize poverty. 2. There are at least 62 genders and it is impossible to define a biological female or male. 3. Democrats believe in love and tolerance but are okay with the asassination of Charlie Kirk. 4. Israel, the only democracy in the Mideast, is inherently evil unlike Hamas, Hezbullah, and the Houthis. 5. Iran and the IRGC are good people and are building atomic weapons for their own protection. God approves and tolerates same sex marriage, transgenderism, and any form of immorality. 6. Donald Trump is so evil that anyone who works for him should be doxxed, fired, or harassed. 7. Our borders should be open to all people, especially jihadists who want to destroy our country. 8. Christians are homophobic and transphobic because they put their trust in the God of the Bible. 9. Our founding fathers were all white supremacists 10. The Constitution is a "living document" that you don't have to follow. 11. The Supreme Court needs to be expanded so more leftist decisions can be made. 12. Police are evil and must be defunded. 13. Globalism is the answer to everything. All national borders, currencies, etc. must be destroyed to usher in a new world order. 14. Government schools should continue to indoctrinate our young people into communism. Just some more of my "old fart" rants. Seriously today we should all pray for our great nation that the forces of evil and tyranny can be turned back.

It’s not quite 50%. Leftists amplify their influence using violence and theft. They make themselves heard by shouting while others are speaking, they intimidate and threaten others to keep them in line. They are over represented in polls and media and anywhere there is money to be had for not working. There is a silent majority of us who are not evil but being silent is forced upon us. That’s why it seems like half the country is evil.

It wouldn’t surprise me because they have done it many times before. The average person doesn’t even vote over policies and when they do their understanding of the effect of their vote is very minimal.

There are so many examples but simplest one this election: there is no way on Earth the policies of the Democrats can lead to lower fuel prices.

Most voters vote based on their personal financial situation. If times are good for them, they’ll stick with the status quo. If things aren’t going well, they’ll vote for a change. With so many layoffs, fuel prices still sky high and interest rates showing no signs of going down, with a do-nothing GOP majority in both houses of Congress, a lot are going to vote for a change.

Podiatrists in Texas are going to have the best Christmas ever this year. Taxes Texans are out their shooting themselves in the foot for their little communist Dopey Opie Tallywacker. They are giving up Texas to the communists. Never thought I’d see this in my lifetime.

It’s not an either or choice, as both apply to the majority of those people, in my opinion.

A big part of the problem is we have allowed the political class to turn politics into a team sport. No more voting for the best candidate, you vote for your team, because each candidate follows their party over 90% of the time.

I’m totally guessing, but I’d estimate that 25% of Americans are either evil, or just irredeemably stupid. How the DSA gets 50% or more is those voters who traditionally voted Dem because it was the party “for the people”. Those traditional voters likely don’t care for much of the DSA platform, but can’t imagine voting Republican.

Never attribute a complex answer to something explained simply with the same evidence. The answer is “stupid”!.

We have that highly successful K12 system to thank for it!

**They make themselves heard by shouting while others are speaking, they intimidate and threaten others to keep them in line.**
All they need is a smooth talker like BJ/the Kenyan to pretend they’re not that. Works too often.

** there is no way on Earth the policies of the Democrats can lead to lower fuel prices.**
Funny how we don’t bring it up every tome a leftist debater on stage brings starts out with that. Biden’s gas prices were just 2 years ago but not everyone knows what he did to Keystone and the other stuff.

Stupid.

Evil requires more than just being stupid.

America will shift either gradually or dramatically to the left today.

"Never underestimate the power of human stupidity". However, let's wait and see. I remember in 2016 all the poll readers thought Mrs. Bill Clinton would win in a landslide, and some thought she might be the first president to win all 50 states.

Whichever it is, it also seems like the other half is a lot more motivated about changing the country to become “their democracy” than our half is in keeping it as it has been for 250 years. Prove me wrong.

You should probably add a 15th:

The only reason many Republicans give the voters is that they aren't Democrats.

Which I've argued is part of the problem that has gotten the country to where we it's at today, and yet Republicans keep lining to do the same thing, pull the 'R' lever. Oftentimes without being anymore educated, then their Democrat counterparts.

We've had how many Republicans that are only Republican because of the district they are in? What has the Republican Congress over the last several terms really accomplished?

At some point, the argument of, "But I'm not a Democrat!" Just doesn't have the same weight to it. There needs to be a better message, and messaging. Trump took control of the narrative brilliantly and moved away from the typical channels. He also spoke in non-political terms that resonated with people. But Republicans in Congress...they actually need to learn to lead when in power. Maybe take a lesson from the Clinton period.

Is that 50% or so, evil or stupid?

Yes, to both. And willfully ignorant as well. Nobody gonna boss THEM around, you betcha.
