I find it amazing that there is an organization to track all of the “days” in the calendar dedicated to minutia. With employees and everything!!
Thanks for posting this. I like cats and small reasons to celebrate.
Boxed wine gonna be flyin’ off the shelves.
Ginger loved Kirkland brand canned peas.
NATIONAL CAT DAY. Can never have too many barn cats on the farm.
quite a while back now, we had a cat that loved canned french cut green beans. He would also eat standard cut green beans with fervor, but the french cut was his favorite. Any time a can was opened, he was right there wanting green beans, so we had to keep stock of them.
I remember this ad. It’s still a hoot.
EVERY day is Cat Day!
(just ask any cat)
I thank God for my most awesome Charlotte, every time she brings me mice, rats, chipmunks, adolescent possums, rabbits, countless snakes and birds, moles and voles, brown and green anoles. We live on the edge of the woods in Georgia and she is a rescue who was living in a tire and she’s in heaven being such a good hunter. She’s such good company. Never a boring moment with her.
That was the company I was working for at the time.
They are no more, they just demolished the Headquarters I worked in, to make way for the new AT&T headquarters.
Very cute. They all have their own little peculiarities, don’t they?
I refuse to admit how many cats I am taking care of right now, but I have 2 that are solely mine. My newest kitten, Patty, takes showers with me...lol Yep, crazy ole cat lady for sure!
I call my cat “The Alarm Clock” because with her, I don’t need one.
And she don’t recognize Daylight Savings Time.
We also had a cat who loved green beans. We would buy fresh green beans and all we had to do is cut one of them in the kitchen and within five seconds he was there, even if he had been in a room all the way at the other end of the house.
Will pay you to take her off my hands........
My nine-year-old Daisy is happy with cat day, and the other 364 are worth celebrating too. This year is sad, though. Her handsome boyfriend, Blackie, went to cat heaven last night. They”d had a lot of fun together, and she’s not happy to olose him.
She’s not the only one. Several people in the hood love Blackie too. Two of us fed him, and many others called him by name and wondered where he was if he went for a walk somewhere.
Cat lovers really love cats.
