> In my opinion, AUDIs are grossly overpriced.<

A lot of their high price has German socialism baked into it.

High taxes, VAT tax, energy costs, cradle to grave worker benefits, export and shipping fees, and now tariffs all raise the purchase price. It also raises the cost of replacement parts since there is very little capitalism encouraged OEM or aftermarket parts available.

This is one of the promises Trump made that he’s been able to deliver on, in spite of obstruction from the left. Why isn’t this being pointed out in ads across the country?

When I saw Fort Valley mentioned, my first reaction was “Oh! That’s near a Buc-ee’s!”

I’m not too far from the one near Calhoun. We have going to Buc-ee’s down to a science.

I periodically follow a retired hedge fund manger living in Hawaii. Back during Covid he had some minor repair that couldn't be fixed. His insurance company totaled the car.

You miss the truly important motivation

Audi is fleeing a failing Germany and Europe

“A lot of their high price has German socialism baked into it.”

From what we see in the news (filtered by socialists in our own media), it looks like Volkswagen production is almost collapsing due to high energy costs and other socialist red tape and expense.

In 5 years, will there be more VW and Audi production in the US than in Germany?

“In my opinion, AUDIs are grossly overpriced.”

Just look at the used prices. For years was one of those jokes the “lost half the value driving off the dealer lot”

If they are gimicked up with all that electronic crap like a BMW, should be about the same now.

I’m considering a used R8.
Too bad they discontinued it.

The problem with limited high performance sports cars is how do you get it fixed years down the road. I asked a nearby neighbor that has one in my flyover metro area. He takes the car to Chicago or Indianapolis service for `100 miles away
