Game 1 of the World Series is in the books after Milwaukee took a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
We spoke with fans leaving the stadium moments after the final out.
Sally told us, "It was the most amazing experience I've ever had, honestly."
Dan said, "The crowd's electric. Milwaukee needs this ring. We need this ring. We need this win."
Dan Olson went to Game 1 with his son, Noah. Dan said, "First World Series for me and my son, and we won the whole thing twice tonight."
Dianne said it was loud inside. "Oh, it was fantastic. They were so rowdy and so loud. No one could hear anything. I loved it. I screamed as loud as I could."
Scott was emotional after the win, saying, "I know it's just Game 1. It's just the beginning; they still have a lot of work to do. But at the same time, it's a huge step. Getting this one out of the way is incredible."
Young Nolan told us, "It's hard to describe because I was really happy, and it was nice spending time with my family."
DJ said, "Everybody around here has been waiting for this for so long. It's the best thing to ever happen to me."
And Matt added, "It's incredible. I never thought that in my whole life that I'd see us in the World Series, but the job's not finished."
And while American Family Field was rocking inside, fans flocked to nearby bars and watch parties outside.
At Kegel’s Inn in West Allis, a large crowd sat outside and watched the game on a massive television screen.
Fans ordered beer after beer, rooting for the Brew Crew while enjoying a fall evening.
“I wanted to be amongst all the people of the city. I wanted to be as close as I could without having a ticket. And this works phenomenal. This is Milwaukee,” said Dillon Connor, a Brewers fan. “It's so special for the team. It's so special for the city and Wisconsin. It's just amazing what this is doing for the state of Wisconsin.”
The Bucks moved their home opener on Friday to the afternoon so that everyone could focus on the Brewers in Game 1.
Hundreds of fans packed the Deer District for Game 1, on the edge of their seats for every pitch.
“It’s amazing. Wisconsinites, we’re family, we’re a whole, and this is huge for us right now, for us to come together," Bucks fan DaJhane Stapleton said.
The crowd was filled with longtime fans, all waiting for a potential World Series championship to come to Milwaukee.
“This crowd has waited 44 years for an opportunity like this, and they might be able to see it in the next week or so," Brewers fan Keith Adamkiewicz said. "We’re looking forward to it. Let’s go, let's go Brewers!”

And nothing was set on fire in 'celebration' last night, either! Not ALL sports fans suck. :)
As a longtime Rays fan, it was a well played game on both sides; if it weren’t for one swing by Yelich the score would be flipped.
It’s the kind of baseball that lovers of baseball love. Rasmussen will make the series 1-1 going to the Trop. After that it’s anyone’s call.
What an exciting ending! Congratulations to the Brewers and their fans!
I caught just a couple of innings.
The Brewers’ pitcher was throwing at 100 mph.
It was a great game to spectate except for the phantom double play at the end. Not because phantom doubles aren’t part of baseball lore, it just took too long for the replay review to sort it out.
It took maybe two minutes (haven’t yet found a replay to get the exact time), and they weren’t giving the pitcher opportunity to keep warm. If they can’t overturn the ruling on the field in 30 seconds, it should stand as called.

WUT? No cop cars overturned, stores looted, dumpsters in the street ablaze? I’m shocked I tell ya. Thanks Brewer fans.
My Mom is a die-hard Brewer’s Fan. We took her to ‘County Stadium’ (AmFam Field, now) for Mother’s day this past Spring. It was a blast. Great seats, good food and a luxury coach to take us there, so we didn’t have to drive.
Misiorowski was on FIRE that game, too. He was throwing over 100mph that game. We were playing New York. It was a sweet win! :)

Dumb@ss took his foot off the plate and set us up for the WIN! :)

I’m really ticked at the Brewers for the ridiculous prices they put on the tickets.
If I was the owner, tickets for Playoff games would be 50% higher than regular tickets in the same seats and World Series tickets would be 100% higher.

And here’s the reason straight out of AI: 👇
“Black players make up 6.8% of players on Major League Baseball”
No black players, no black violence.....I know how that sounds snd I don’t care anymore......it’s the dam truth.
Nobody sets fires for a game 1 win. You save that until they actually hoist the trophy.
It’s not the truth:

Misiorowski? 103.
In the same length of time it took his heater to cross the plate, his slider would still be seven feet away. Which gives you an idea of how much it upsets the batter's timing when he throws off-speed.
Its because its baseball not basketball
You don’t know much about sporting celebrations. College or pro. Google Bubba Helms or couch burning - all white
It was baseball at its finest. Some needlessly aggressive baserunning and a ridiculous jabbing bunt attempt were my only criticisms. Can’t fault aggression, except an attempted steal of third with 2 outs and a stud at the plate is nuts. And the popped-up bunt says “send that guy back to Spring Training”.
You call that a celebration? They didn’t even burn anything down.
