SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – At the request of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah, members of the media are invited to attend a press conference announcing charges against a Utah man charged with an attempted hate crime, and other crimes after allegedly making online threats to a synagogue in 2025.
WHEN: Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Media is invited to attend but must arrive early to set up and be ready to go by 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: Office of the United States Attorney, 111 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, Suite 18.

Well, that’s icing, anyway - looks like more from Utah inbound...
24-year-old Jaden J. Read of Clearwater, Kansas, was arrested and federally charged this week for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to our state on Monday.
Read's Facebook posts were extremely incendiary. He made several posts, including these:
"Let's shoot Trump honestly, where's our shooter?"
and
"Can we shoot him in Kansas please I will myself", and claims that he had mapped out nearby rooftops.
The sooner the indictments happen to the violent commie lefty traitors the better.
(Perhaps indicting the producers of cable show "Skin Walker Ranch" for only having about 5 minutes of actual new show per episode with the remaining show being an endless rehash of 2 or 3 of those 5 min or maybe even 5 minutes from a previous show? An episode with more new show than that would be "Anomalous". Yes, I laugh while my wife and daughter watch the show and enjoy the rockets and sky shows! )
The announcement is because they *have* the indictment, but want media attention on the announcement. The indictment isn’t going away. And the criminal isn’t getting out of the country.
Indictments are only good, if they lead to lengthy prison sentences, or rapid executions.
Otherwise, just more tax money being wasted.
