MILWAUKEE -- Miller Lite is covering your first beer during Game 1 of the World Series, in honor of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Fans who buy a 16-ounce (or larger) can, aluminum pint or draft pour of Miller Lite anywhere in Wisconsin on Oct. 23 can submit their receipt to Molson Coors for a rebate up to $8. The deal is in celebration of the Brewers' return to the World Series after 44 years.

Miller Brewery will also offer free tours to the first 120 people in line at its visitor center (4251 West State Street) on Oct. 23. The tours include a commemorative hat and beer samples for of-age guests and will wrap up before Game 1 starts.

"Miller Lite is raising a glass to this historic moment alongside Brewers fans across Wisconsin," community affairs manager Alison Hanrahan said. "We can’t think of a better way to toast the Brewers’ incredible run than with beer and tours of the brewery we proudly call home."

Receipts need to be submitted to Molson Coors' website (linked here) between Oct. 23 and Nov. 4.

Congratulations to the Brewers.

I was hoping for a three-peat for the Dodgers but it wasn't to be.

The Dodgers have so much money now, this may be a possibility:

Here we find ourselves... over 2000 years later... and (liquid) bread and circuses still works on humanity.

Love Miller Lite. Pretty good beer and not expensive.

Here’s the irony: The Seattle Pilots (now the Brewers) may win the WS before the Seattle Mariners (who will probably NEVER win a WS).

Washington is the state of losers. It’s where business goes to die.

It’s beautiful country, populated by AWFULs, Muslims, and Communists.

Washington knows how to lose. It’s an art, and this state means to perfect that art.

....totally agree....I never drink anything brewed by Miller...found out years ago they are “proud sponsors” of the degenerate Folsom Street Festival in San Francisco...

Is light beer going the same direction as wine? Nobody wants it anymore?
Watered down anything is a waste of time.

Unless the week-long break hurts the Brewers, look for them to possibly sweep TB.

Is light beer going the same direction as wine?

Market and Consumer Trends
Beer: The beer market is expanding in many regions, with craft and specialty beers growing faster than traditional lagers. Light beers remain popular for casual, low‑calorie drinking, but they are not the fastest‑growing segment overall

.

Wine: Wine consumption is stable in some markets and declining in others, but premium and specialty wines (including fortified types) are growing. Wine’s higher ABV and more complex flavor profile keep it in a different category from light beer

I’m a Dodgers fan, but I’m glad the Cleveland Baseball Team didn’t make the World Series.

I can watch the game and still fret about globalists enslaving us all!

Does the Miller Brewing Company make beer? Are they claiming Miller Lite is beer?

Washington is the state of losers.

The Seattle Seahawks are currently the NFL Super Bowl champs. That's kind of a big win.
