After the feds raided Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN)’s immigration documents in a reportedly years-long fraud investigation into the Somali Congresswoman’s background, even MS Now is admitting the feds likely have evidence.
The investigation appears to be focusing on whether she and her father lied on immigration papers filled out when she was a teen, as the statute of limitations on her alleged marriage to her brother has already expired.
A former immigration official previously told the New York Post that if Omar’s father lied on citizenship paperwork and she went along with the lie, it “would wipe her out from naturalization.” A top immigration official also told the Post, “If there’s enough evidence that she or [her father] lied on her immigration application to become a United States citizen, whether it was one time or several times, the Trump administration could initiate a denaturalization process that would strip her of her citizenship.”
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin previously suggested that her citizenship is illegitimate, saying, “If we can prove that you shouldn’t have been here in the first place, we’ll deport you.” Last month, Border Czar Tom Homan also suggested that Omar “lied or misrepresented” herself when becoming a citizen and that she can “absolutely” be naturalized if that is proven.
MS Now’s Ken Dilanian surprisingly admitted that in order to obtain the judicial search warrants, “the Department of Homeland Security, which carried out the search, had to present evidence to a judge, suggesting that there was evidence of a crime at this location at Representative Omar’s home in Washington, D.C. or at least that there was probable cause to believe that there was such evidence.”
Dilanian states feds are trying to determine whether Omar, who claims she was born October 4, 1982, was 18 when she obtained citizenship in 2000.

Yeah...a warrant pretty much implies some kind of probable cause. Unless it’s to get Trump.

I must admit I got out of depression hearing the Talarico in the mental health facility stories. Then came crashing down as the story seems to be without proof.
You know if you commit fraud to be in the USA...you may not want to run for political office and if you do...definitely don’t run your mouth and put a target on yourself.
I don’t know about that. Did you know all but one of the Federal Judges in Minnesota have shown 100% bias against homeland security. So much so they made a complaint against them to get them removed from all homeland security cases.
Plus the crime happened in DC it sounds like. If he brought it in Minnesota...one of those judges would have thrown it out with prejudice.

It certainly has worked for her so far.
I have know about her immigration problems for at least 8 years.
So, I have to assume that the FBI and INS knew about it as well.

Once she was elected she was for most purposes untouchable.
If Trump had not gone after her, she would have died or retired from office.
