In 2026, anybody can cultivate a massive social media following doing anything their heart desires — and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
For a case in point, look no further than a recent Reel from holistic health influencer Matt Roeske. First spotted by the publication Reality Check, the clip features Roeske promoting radioactive water as a long-forgotten panacea, supposedly shut down by the “Rothschild medical system.”
In his video, Roeske appears holding a “Revigator,” an irradiated ceramic jug from the 1920s sold as a pseudoscientific miracle cure-all. In addition to carnotite — a bright-yellow rock known for its high uranium content — the Revigator contains a slew of chemicals like arsenic, lead, and vanadium, which is all stuff you shouldn’t even shower with, let alone mix in your drinking water.
“You see all that beautiful water in there?” Roeske asks while tilting the cistern toward the camera. “Perfectly harmless, you’ve just been lied to,” he says before taking a huge mouthful of the stuff. “And it’s delicious. And I’ve been drinking it for 250 days now.”
For most people, the fact that the federal government outlawed production of Revigators in the 1920s would be enough of a warning. But to Roeske, the government prohibition is proof that it works.
“In 1933 when the Rothschilds FDA came along the first thing they went after was radium water… not vaxxines [sic], dirty electricity, or pesticides,” he wrote in the video’s caption. “Gee I wonder why… healthy people don’t yield large profits.”

Indeed, that government crackdown came after the death of Eben MacBurney Byer, a steel magnate and socialite who regularly drank “Radithor,” water that had been irradiated in cisterns like the one Roeske has apparently been drinking from for the better part of a year.
Byer was estimated to have slammed 1,400 half-ounce vials of the snake oil tincture, which predictably led to some horrifying consequences: his teeth fell out, his whole upper jaw and most of his lower one had to be surgically removed, and as one Wall Street Journal article from 1991 noted, “holes were actually forming in his skull.”
The quantity of radiated water Byer ingested was so high that when radiation oncologist Roger Macklis examined the mogul’s remains the year of the WSJ story, he concluded that Byer “took enough radium to kill four people if he took it all at once.” It’s little wonder, then, why Byer’s body is interred in a lead-lined coffin.
Roeske seemingly has no medical degree that Futurism could identify. Instead, his main gig appears to be selling capsules of mushroom powder to his more than 500,000 Instagram followers, while promoting woo-woo practices on his podcast, like staring at the Sun to strengthen your eyes.
“My favorite thing about radium water is it pulls the vaccine toxicity out of the body, and also is a solution to [electromagnetic field] sensitivity,” Roeske says later in his video, holding his radiated jug up for the camera.
“It’s the opposite spectrum of all the microwaves that they keep selling the people,” he declares incredulously. “So do you see why they went after it?”

I’m going to call BS.
When they were making watches with radioactive paint brushes, many women lost their jaws.
Exactly. This guy is an idiot ‘influencer’........Many people will regret listening to him............
Let’s revisit him about 5 years.
He’ll be in ‘glowing’ health!.............😂
Good movie. Michael Nesmith production............

“So, you’ve been sippin’ a little of your Aunt Tillie’s rheumatism medicine.”
Clearly Matt's mind has already disintegrated.
The life of a repo man is always intense.
Assuming (a large assumption) that none of the radioactive material goes into solution, it’s probably harmless except to the extent being around the radioactive bucket exposes him to radiation.
The water won’t become radioactive unless it he’s getting bits of bucket floating in it.
The flip side is it does nothing useful for this risk. Maybe kill bacteria if the radiation is strong enough. But that goes back to the fact it’s probably not great to hang around the bucket very much.
That said, maybe he should routinely soak his testicles in the bucket to prevent reproduction.
“Let’s revisit him about 5 years.”
But just don’t stand close to him!
There has been research that low dosages of irradiation can be therapeutic.

More recently, Sanders’ radiation hormesis books compile and discuss the enormous amount of medical evidence of many low-dose radiation therapies.4,5 This article describes the author’s presentation on low-dose medical therapies at the 2019 Polish Radiation Research Society Symposium.6
Why, is he Sting?

In 1924, following several successful advertisement campaigns that left him unable to keep up with demand, he sold his operation to Dow-Herriman Pump & Machinery Company, selling thousands of the devices in the 1920s and 1930s.[3]
