California is putting teenagers as old as 15 through a state-mandated seat-belt fit test—and those who fail it will have to remain in a child restraint such as a booster seat. The new rule takes effect January 1, 2027. It applies to children ages 8 through 15, meaning it reaches right up to a teenager’s 16th birthday. The law stops short of ordering every 15-year-old into a booster. Teenagers who pass all five steps may use an adult belt, while those who miss even one step will need a child restraint. The story exploded across social media Saturday as Californians compared Sacramento’s latest mandate with the state’s much larger public crises.

Similarly a 10 year old boy has to be in a child booster seat while he rides to have his genitals removed without his parents knowledge!

Too vulnerable to sit in a car without a booster but able to choose to end another innocent person’s life or butcher their own body, without parents’ knowledge or consent.
Put helmets on, and mouth guards.

Do the 15 and 16 year olds have to sit in a booster seat when they take their driving tests for their learners permit and license?
My brother and 2 of my sisters were thrown from their pickup which went down a ravine and rolled 3 times. The roof of the cab was crushed to the steering wheel. If they had had seat belts on they would all have been killed. I know that’s an anomaly but there it is.

It occurs to me that the Democrats who run California are
consciously making criminals of their citizens. They are creating
legislation that cannot possibly be enforced except by well-
meaning sheep that self-regulate whatever nonsense flows out
of Sacramento. Ultimately, the population will realize that
everything they do is illegal, so why even bother to abide by
any laws.

What if your head hits the ceiling of the car when you use a booster?
Well God was looking out for yours on that day!
Seat belts are an excuse for the state to get in your face and ‘’make sure your safe’’ and a dangerous incumbent in an emergency.
At the very worst your neck snaps and you’re dead.
At the very least you’ll end up with an injury that will have you wearing a ‘’neck halo’’(that lampshade looking thing) for a while.
