That first juror looks like she would be the husband in any relationship she had.
To me, there was far too much deliberation in what she did. Putting the husband to bed and then methodically strangling the children shows far too much forethought.
I can believe post-partum depression and psych meds could leave someone seriously mentally ill. But then there would be signs of serious incapacitation beforehand like confabulation, seeing things, erratic behavior, etc.
Jury proceedings are supposed to be confidential!
I have been empaneled for juror service, but when defense lawyers saw that I had a PhD, they kicked me out. At least I got to go home and to work the same day.
I would not have liked to serve on a jury with women like this. What a horrible experience!
She was excited to be in a position to excuse another woman from any responsibility.
Reading that and looking at them makes realize why the old social rule regarding wife beating was only, "no serious injuries."
