In accordance with standard journal procedures, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation that confirmed serious methodological flaws and statistical errors that were deemed to undermine the scientific conclusions of the article. As a result, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this paper as per MDPI's retraction policy.
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Remote Sensing.
The authors have been informed of this retraction and have indicated their disagreement with this decision.

['Civ note:] The paper was a smoking hot pile of BS from day one, but it attracted a lot of attention. The overdue retraction was a whole month ago, and this is the first I've heard of it. Glad that stupidity is now over. Fringe online sources cover this as if it has anything to do with the ScanPyramids project, which it does NOT. Why? As Peanuts character Lucy VanPelt once said, "have you ruled out stupidity?". You are joking-right? All the archaeological evidence found-including carcasses/bones found in the permafrost-show that the mammoths were gone from the Americas by 9,000-10,000 years ago. The oldest/1st pyramids were built 46-4800 years ago-not even close...
I don’t recall this exact paper, but so many things when it comes to geophysics is BS. It probably included claims of providing small details at great distances. Like Scotty used to say “I can’t change the laws of physics!”

As for giant skeletons, there are literally dozens of news articles from the late 1800’s through early 1900’s of these skeletons found in North america.
Including picture of such a skeleton found by l.a. marzulli on the California island of Catalina in the museum there .
Since published , that museum has issued cropped photos online . Much in the style of the progressive biased recently discredited Smithsonian institution.
Academia probably is the source of your ignorant opinion such skeletons are a myth.
