If Defense is trying to get rid of the holdout, does that mean that 11 want to let her walk and only one juror thinks she’s guilty?
That’s exactly what it has to mean. One man....and we have to assume its one of the 3 men on the jury.....actually wants to hold her accountable for her CRIMES and will not give in to no doubt a tidal wave of bullying attempts by all the Karens on the jury.

It could be the other way around, but getting the judge tp replace the juror holding out for “not guily,” will provide a reason for appealing for the guilty verdict.
The jury may be deadlocked not over guilt or innocence but over the degree of guilt, with most of the jury against a first degree murder conviction but favoring a lesser included charge.
I think there are three different potential counts here for each victim: 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, and manslaughter. This may be more complicated than just an 11-1 juror divide on a single count.
Next time: make sure that the murderer’s supporters don’t lie their way onto the jury.

Could be, but it could be the opposite as well. The defense may feel that the 11 would convict her, then ask for a new trial because there were only 11 jurors instead of 12.
