MIAMI — The Florida woman who shot and killed a drugged-up Army vet in a spat over a parking spot at a Walmart will not face charges after he threatened to ‘f— her s— up’, prosecutors revealed Thursday.
Bart Diguglielmo, a 62-year-old retired staff sergeant, was fatally shot in front of the supercenter in North Lauderdale just before 12:30 p.m. on June 30.
The shooter, identified as Melissa Payne, is immune from prosecution because she acted in self-defense due to the state’s “stand your ground” law, the Broward County state attorney’s office announced.
One witness said she had heard Diguglielmo threaten Payne before the shooting by saying “I’m gonna f— your s— up,” while another said he told her hew was going to “mess her car up”, a legal memo stated.
“Florida is a Stand Your Ground State,” prosecutor Stephen J. Zaccor wrote. “MP (Melissa Payne) did not have to wait to be attacked before resorting to deadly force.
“She did not have to retreat as long as her fear was reasonable and no evidence has been presented to disprove that.”

We just got shot at a few weeks in the Wal-Mart parking lot in broad daylight. The round pinged off the ground about 10 ft from me. They are super dangerous places.

That pretty much encapsulates what I remember.
My local WM is on a sparsely populated island and not quite so well populated with the usual denizens.
That said, I will not shop there. WM makes my skin crawl.
Good on her. She saw the threats around her and has taken responsibility for her own safety.
You have to stop, think and plan, you have to realize the truth. There is a reason most if not all police departments have removed the ‘protect and serve’ motto’s from their vehicles, web sites. You MUST take you and your families protection in to your own hands.
Arm your selves my friends, get a CCW, get pepper ball gun, pepper spray, bear spray, carry a pocket knife, a belt knife, be ready and when one of these barely human monsters try to attack you or your family or friends; let them be met by determination, steel or a hail of bullets fired in self defense.
We are a hands breath away from riot and destruction. The left has turned courts in to revolving doors, the woke are trying to de-fund the police and many department budgets have been reduced, fire safety has been left to rot and ruin slashed to the bone. You must be hyper-vigilant in the protection of your self and your family.
The lame stream media ignores it and they memory holed it but we must remember, we must band together for our own protection and stand against the bought and paid for tyranny of the the vicious left.

I went downtown in the city where I grew up and there were people screaming in the street. Just ranting. My brother asked if that happened where I live. I said “No because they would be looking down the barrel of a gun”. Be polite or you risk getting shot.
I am 64. Any threats to me will be treated as possible death and I will react accordingly.
