Linn Duachaill ("Duachall's pool") is the name of a Viking longphort near the village of Annagassan, County Louth, Ireland. The settlement was built in 841 CE, the same time as the settlement of Dubh Linn, or Dublin. In contrast to Dublin, the settlement was abandoned. .....but people still live in the town of Annagassan; and sometimes they hold a Viking Festival.
It isnt hard to figure out what happened to them once Greenland started glacierating over again.

I guess I have Viking ancestry then. My ancestors were from Scotland, Ireland, Denmark, and Wales. I traced my ancestors back to 13th century Scotland. And yes, I’m a natural redhead. My grandmother was what she called Black Irish with pale skin but with jet-black hair. My granddaughter had her DNA done and hers came back as predominately Scandinavian. She is a natural blond with blue eyes.
They heard Trump was going to buy the place and figured it would be the end of the neighborhood.
