CLERMONT, Fla. - A fight between a mother and daughter boiled over on Tuesday evening, leading to a stabbing.
Lake County sheriff’s deputies responded to a Clermont home shortly before 6 p.m. Aug. 18 after receiving a 911 call reporting that two people had been injured in a fight involving broken glass, according to an arrest affidavit.
Shavannah Nechole Stafford, 27, told deputies that her mother had attacked her with a fan and a lamp before breaking a glass jar over her head. Stafford said her mother suffered injuries while rolling on the broken glass.
Her mother gave deputies a different account. She said Stafford struck her with a fan and a lamp, then tried to hit her with a glass jar. The mother said she took the jar and struck Stafford with it, causing it to shatter. She alleged Stafford then picked up a shard and stabbed her.
Deputies reported finding the mother covered in blood with a wound to the upper-left side of her head and a cut on her left elbow. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center due to the severity of her injuries.
Deputies say Stafford had a small cut on her right pinkie and pieces of glass in her hair, according to the affidavit. Deputies identified her as the primary aggressor and arrested her after she was released from South Lake Hospital.
Stafford was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery in a domestic case and had bail set at $5,000. She was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

The shame of this whole story is that they both could have made decent money if they'd sold tickets to the fight, or at least had a professional crew tape it for a pay per view.

Stabbings used to be a Saturday night thing except for special occasions. Now they can happen any day of the week.
