A Pennsylvania college soccer star was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend, who claimed “demons” told him to do it — and got his mom to help him dispose of the body, according to police.
Karoline Heintz was found dead in the back hatch of her Jeep Cherokee at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, just outside the Pennsylvania Western University campus in California, Pa.
Heintz, an incoming freshman on the university’s women’s soccer team, had met up with her boyfriend, Royce Mosher, after she attended a family party earlier in the evening, Pennsylvania State Trooper Rocco Gagliardi told reporters.

Sadly, he will get off as unfit to stand trial and be back on the streets in a year or two. Mental illness being claimed as an excuse to murder should be stopped.
You help your son get rid of the body he killed, but you hide your face when facing cameras?
“Getting off” on mental insanity grounds should be rewarded with confinement in a looney bin for the rest of your days. Not walking around free in society.
A parent helping a child try to cover up a crime is the absolutely stupidest thing that the parent can do. The parent will get caught and then will end up on trial and possibly in jail too. Or the prosecutor will use charging the parent as leverage to get a guilty plea out of the son. It will be more money the family has to spend on lawyers. And then will have no ability to help the child going forward.
They should interview the boy and his mom together. First question to the boy: "Is the demon in the room with us right now?"

"You didn't tell us he was a white boy! We don't care!"

He kills his girlfriend, and his mother becomes an accessory by helping dispose of the body?
Some stories in the news are really shocking.
Morally depraved. IOW, Democrats.
I don't know, the guy who shot Reagan was locked up for a long, long time before they let him out.
Already going for the insanity defense, I see.
Hopefully, the justice system won't by it. Otherwise, he'll be out after a stay in a mental institution.
John Hinckley, who shot President Reagan, used the insanity defense, and is now free:
"Hinckley was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 1982 and confined to St. Elizabeths Hospital for over 30 years. He began conditional release in 2016 and received unconditional freedom from court oversight on June 15, 2022."
Hinckley should have been executed decades ago, IMO.
Wasn’t there a similar story where a police commissioner for some city in New York drove her son to do a drive-by at some other gang?
Yeah, but that was because who he tied to kill and when it happened. If he had killed any normal person he would have gotten off. Like today if someone is successful getting to Trump, they would be celebrated and never serve a day in jail. They would be worshipped by the media.
Mosher is a German surname, meaning people who live near a bog.
He might have a mental condition that the court will consider (and hopefully reject), but the mother has no excuse.
Terribly sad for the girl and her family during what should be a hopeful story of her going off to begin college.
Life sure is cheap in the good ole U.S.A.
