Shares of Merck (MRK) and Moderna (MRNA) spiked in the premarket on Wednesday after the companies said that their jointly developed messenger RNA-based cancer therapy, intismeran autogene, succeeded in a late-stage trial for patients with melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
The Phase 3 INTerpath-001 trial was designed to evaluate intismeran in combination with Merck's (MRK) blockbuster anti-PD-1 therapy Keytruda in more than 1,100 patients with stage IIB-IV melanoma whose cancer has been completely resected.
According to its topline data, INTerpath-001 met its primary endpoint of recurrence-free survival and a secondary endpoint of distant metastasis-free survival, marking the first late-stage trial to outperform Keytruda in an adjuvant setting for resected melanoma.
Moderna (MRNA) shares added more than 60% while Merck (MRK) gained over 6% in the premarket after the announcement. BioNTech (BNTX), another developer of mRNA vaccines and the German maker of the mRNA-based Comirnaty COVID vaccine in partnership with Pfizer (PFE), added nearly 10%. COVID vaccine maker Novavax (NVAX) rose more than 4%.
Citing an interim analysis, the companies said that intismeran with Keytruda caused statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in RFS and DMFS compared with Keytruda alone.
Also known as V940 or mRNA-4157, intisomeran is an individualized neoantigen therapy that can train and activate a patient’s immune system to fight cancer based on the unique mutational setup of their tumors.
The combination regimen showed a safety profile consistent with its prior studies with no new safety signals, according to Merck (MRK) and Moderna (MRNA), which intend to present detailed data from the study at a future medical event.

I am not sure what to think of this until the medical experts on social media weigh in.
Even more Saferer and more Effectiver.
Copyright the TV Ad pitch slogan:
“Ya got Cancer.
What the He** have ya got to lose?”
Well, unlike the Covid vaccine, which was RUSHED via Operation Warped Speed, this was tested on 1,100 patients with stage IIB-IV melanoma and IT IS NOT BEING FORCED ON ANYONE.
The test met its primary endpoint of recurrence-free survival and a secondary endpoint of distant metastasis-free survival.
If something cures cancer, it’s important to know its effect on longevity. If it kills you sooner in some other way, one wouldn’t want to take it. But dishonest scientists might tell you that it cures cancer without even investigating its effect on longevity.
Their motto is “we get rich causing cancer and NOW we are making billions testing a cure on you”.
You won’t die of cancer because you’ll die of a heart attack or blood clots…
While I would never get an mRNA “vaccine”, I’d give serious consideration to an mRNA treatment for melanoma or pancreatic cancer.
Barking for the balance sheet. Their mRNA research since the 80’s has done nothing but kill its recipients. Why not though? Nobody has gone to jail or been fined for their shenanigans, yet.
a safety profile consistent with its prior studies with no new safety signals
Numerically, very few adults die from cancer. They die with cancer.
Melanoma is extremely aggressive.
review
Do you even knoww what you just said?-)
I’ll try to restate it in simpler English for you:
I won’t take an mRNA so called ‘vaccine’.
I will consider risking an mRNA treatment if I have a fast-moving terminal illness.
Let me know if I need to translated that into a language other than English for you.
That being said, we don;'t know what is in the shots and probably never will.
New!
Got my booster card. Gonna get all 45 this time.
That was funny.
