Archaeologists in El Salvador are examining a discovery that may date back to around 850 B.C.
According to a news release from El Salvador's Ministry of Culture, a pre-Hispanic burial site was found in Antiguo Cuscatlán, a suburb of San Salvador, earlier this month. An excavation of the remains began on July 21...
A human skull was found alongside a small Usulután ceramic vessel shaped like a sea turtle, per the news release. Layers of volcanic ash also preserved the remnants of cassava branches...
The remains, which were found face down, are set to undergo radiocarbon dating to determine their age. DNA tests are also being conducted to determine the person's sex, according to El Salvador's Ministry of Culture.
It is believed that aspects of the burial could be similar to the Chalchuapa archaeological site in western El Salvador, where archaeologists discovered the remains of 33 people in the 1970s.
According to CBS News, 26 complete skeletons were found at the archaeological site, as well as four partial skeletons and three isolated skulls. Several of the remains were face down with their hands and feet bound, while others discovered there showed signs of mutilation or decapitation.

“Several of the remains were face down with their hands and feet bound, while others discovered there showed signs of mutilation or decapitation.”
And we are dealing with their descendants thanks to Biden and the Dems...........
During a vacation to Italy, I visited an antique store, looked a little run down. The proprietor pulled out an old cardboard box and offered up the skull of Julius Caesar, $1000. I figured it wouldn’t just sail through customs, and asked what else he had, perhaps in the $200 range.
He put the first box away, and pulled out a smaller one, this time with a child’s skull. “For $200 I can sell you this, the skull of Julius Caesar as a boy.”

Sounds like they weren’t quite dead during the service.
Sounds like whoever did this were friends of Senator Van Hollern, from El Salvador, er Maryland.
Maybe he used the Wayback margarita?
Nothing to lose your head over.............
What happened to the children of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra? We may never know...................
It was traced back to a 10,000-year-old species called Mitch McConnell.
Just cartels doing cartel things.
There was only one, he was murdered by order of Octavian.
Cleo’s kids by Marc Antony did well, and probably have descendants who of course can’t be connected to that ancestry (no paper trail).
Octavian?...and here I thought Octavian, Caesar Augustus, was one of the good guys................
Headless skull found in topless bar.
The sign said “Stop A-head” and sure enough there was a skull
He was scary smart, and had the skills needed to initiate the needed change, a permanent, full-time executive branch of gubmint.
But Caesarion was the other heir in Caesar's will, and, uh, had to go. If it's any consolation, Octavian's line also died out (apart from unknown blessed qccidents from the side action enjoyed by him or his descendants).
Slight spoiler alert -- I really enjoyed the way HBO's "Rome" series wrapped up the matter of Caesarion.
The chimney had to be made out of something...

...never be the head of a major corporation...
Did any Caesars ever actually die of old age?................
